Nice but...
I really wanted to love this uke. I was excited for it to arrive but I must admit, I was a little disappointed. First, I should say that I have no issues with the sound; it sounds very good. My issues are primarily with the look. I love the abalone binding however the color is advertised as “white pearl”. You should know there is no pearl but rather a very subtle glitter. And it’s barely noticeable. Secondly, I do not care for the bridge which to me looks like a piece of cardboard. It’s too wide and could have been shaped better or different wood used but that’s how Lanikai does it. Looks crappy. Minus one star for looks. Lastly, for a laminate uke, I think the price is too high. Minus one more star. Not sure if I’ll keep it or pick something else.
