Size:2 Bars Nabulsi soap is a type of castile soap produced only in Nablus in the West Bank, Palestine. Its chief ingredients are virgin olive oil, water, and an alkaline sodium compound. The finished product is ivory-colored and has almost no scent. The compound is made by mixing the powdered ashes of the barilla plant (qilw) which grows along the banks of the River Jordan with locally supplied lime (sheed). The sodium compound is then is heated with water and the olive oil in large copper vats over fermentation pits. The solution of water and the sodium compound becomes increasingly concentrated in a series of 40 cycles repeated over eight days. During that time, an oar-shaped wooden tool known as a dukshab is used to stir the liquid soap continuously. The liquid soap is then spread in wooden frames to set. After setting, it is cut into the classic cube shape of Nabulsi soap and stamped with the company's trademark seal. The soap cubes then undergo a drying process which can last from three months to a year and involves stacking them in ceiling-high structures resembling cones with hollow centers which allow the air to circulate around the cubes.

FABULOUS product.
This is absolutely wonderful soap, silky, skin softening, gentle, it would be fine for a baby. I use it on my face with no trepidation, feels wonderful, great lather.

Bathing essential
Wonderful Nablus soap. Used a different brand for a while but when I ran out I was delighted to find this one. Really, really soft for sensitive skin and at a great price too!

Good soap!
I am using this as my facial cleaner. My skin is very sensitive and has ocassionally break outs. Since I start using this, it has been a lot better and I am very happy. I know most people use this as hand soap but it trually heals my face well.

An Indian friend of mine told me about nablus soap so I had to try. My first purchase was for 1 bar to try it out - I love it! This is my second order, this time with 4 bars!! Will be back for more!

Baby soft skin
Best soap ever!!! I have super dry skin. My skin LOVES this soap. The bars last a long time and are a great value. My daughter has mild eczema but has not had any problems since we have been using this soap. My husband often comments on how smooth and soft my skin is. I use it from my hair to my face to my body.

Excellent product
This is the real deal. Very good quality, handmade soaps made with 100% natural (plant-based) products (3-4 ingredients akin to the Aleppo soap). Highly recommended!! I would advocate folks to use these kinds of soaps more systematically because they are bio-degradable, good for the skin/health (no chemicals) and their purchase helps sustain a dying centuries-old industry.

Very nice!
This is really nice soap. Cleans well and leaves just a little light moisture so it doesn't dry your skin out.

Smells.
The soaps I received where old. They had a stale smell. And their color what yellow instead of the white they show in the picture. I don't think I will buy it again.
