Open baggies slowly and gently. I recommend using the end of a popcicle stick to add it to resin.
My pictures really don't do this stuff justice. Every color is shimmery with a buttery smooth texture.Upon opening the package, the baggies came bundled together in another little zip lock type bag, which prevents fallout inside the box. Several of the bags had fallout in the top of them, but this is normal, I've never received mica that didn't have a little bit of mica above the zip lock line.Mica powder is something I've purchased before so I also wanted to see how it compared to what I already have.In the 1st picture you see "4 colors" , two marked A for Asani, and O, for other. The other brand of mica powder has the exact same color names as Asani does, so I picked the color Ocean, and Glacier to compare. You can see that the Asani mica is far more pigmented, and bright, and I absolutely LOVE It! You can see that the Asani mica has more POP while the other brand is a little more dull, still shiny, but just not as pigmented. The ocean color of the other brand looks dull and dark, while the Asani brand Ocean color reminds you of a real ocean color. The colors swatched on my arm are as follows.TOP ROWCopper, golden sand, 24k gold, Citron, sunburst, shiraz, scarlet, bronze, magenta, dusk, violet, silver, titanium.BOTTOM ROWCobalt, Caribbean, ocean, glacier, steel, chartreuse, turquoise, emerald, sage, pewter, onyx.HOW I SWATCHEDBecause I wanted the color to stick I used a M. A. C Painterly pro long wear primer base on my arm before dipping my fingers in each color to swatch on my arm. I did this because I only use mica for resin, or for makeup, which resin is thinker and I never put makeup on without using the pro long wear paint pot anyways. I also cleaned my fingers with a baby wipe between swathed as to not mix the colors on my fingers before swatching.Choosing between the two, I would choose to purchase the Asani brand again.

Vibrant mica powders great for crafting
I have recently started making crafts with resin and glitter. I decided to try these mica powders to color my epoxy. They worked very well. The powders dissolve easily in the resin. You can add more powder to the resin to add more depth to the color. The colors were vibrant and shimmery. You can also mix two colors together to create a new hue or tint. Once colored I poured the resin into various molds. The mica powders did not change how the resin behaved. It still cured like it should and released from the mold with out trouble. The only thing I think could be better is the packaging. The ziplock type baggies fit nicely in the box they come in but when you open the baggies they tend to expel powder into the air and over the work surface. Other powders I have used come in small pots/jars with a screw top. These didn’t poof out into the air when opened.

Great for bath bombs
We purchased these mica powder colors to make bath bombs with a group of first graders. There was a wide range of colors to choose from. The kids really liked the shiny metallic colors. The powder is very fine, as expected, and was handled by adults to avoid messes, but when color was spilled, it was easily wiped up with a wet paper towel and left no stain on the counters. I really liked that the colors were packaged in ziplock type bags so they could be easily closed and stored for future use. And the bath bombs turned out great, the colors really came through. We used about a third of a color bag in each bomb to them very vibrant, and used less color for a pastel look. When the kids played with them in the water, no color was left on their skin and it easily rinsed out of their buckets.

Review
This has a beautiful pigment to it and it’s to go very light or build it up for a deeper color. It’s very easy to wash off once you suds your hands up real good. I only think the packaging for the pigment should be different. There was no spillage at all in my box I would just prefer to not have the powders in ziploc bags maybe in a plastic container. Maybe like a large eyeshadow looking palette or individual palettes for each color.Just a thought. I also noticed a slight redness to my skin shortly after applying. So I have to keep a close eye on that in the future. I’d like to try it more in the future for Halloween and see how my skin does. I also plan to use this in resin and see what it looks like so there may be an update to this review in the future.

Cosmetic grade MICA powder
I do a lot art and craft with different media. especially now during shelter in place. Art and craft help my kids to be entertained.I used Mica powder before from other brand, beautiful color, nice jar container, very happy. I used it a lot for making bath bomb for my kid's party favor. Resin Jewelry, molding soap etc. I ran out.I saw this Mica powder, very good value, other company cost the same with half of the amount. The colors are bright. More color variety 25 colors (my other one only18), double the amount. easy to mix with what ever I need to make (resin, soap, etc). One of my "complaint" is the container. It is in a ziplock bag. It was sealed nicely and arrived in good condition. Unfortunately the powder will stuck a lot on the bag and wasting those beautiful pigment powder. And also I like to organize my supply so I can see what I have. Packaging it in a bag I can only stack them or put it back in the box.Overall, I am happy with this product, suggestion that I hope the company agree is to change the container, then I will be very very happy :)

Great assortment for a great price
They came quickly as usual from amazon But here they are, 25 beautiful metallic pigments. I like that they are all named on each bag so you know which one to re-order when needed. They are packaged in ziplock style bags, I do wish they would come in a plastic container of some sort, but I understand that it’s easier to fit 25 in the box if they are in baggies.I will be using these for candle making so I will update when I am done with the candles. But I am sure like every product I’ve gotten from Asani, they will be great.

GOOD!
They are good quality. I wish they made a bigger variety of colours so I didn't have to mix them but they combine very well with other powders and liquids so its easy enough. They all came vac sealed so when you first open them there will be more mica dust in the air than normal.

Would buy again
Most of the colours are different, but there are a few double ups. There is a mix of glittery and metallic look powers.A good starter kit to get a feel for colours and what pigments you gravtitate towards.

Not great quality at all.
Damaged product. Items were cut or punctured with mica powder spreading together. Packaging has a huge design floor if individual satchels are damaged inside a larger satchels and inside a box.
