Works like the original
This one matches the factory plug exactly with the offset tab on the top like the original OEM part. This worked perfect in my Hemi 5.7 and solved the weird oil pressure gauge erratic behavior.

Used for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The original Oil Pressure Switch (Sending unit) was failing. My oil gauge was at times showing no oil pressure and coded my engine light The engine wasn't knocking so I suspect a bad sending unit. I'm posting this review 1 week after the install, so it does not reflect the longevity of the product.FYI: to remove the electrical connector you will need to slide the retaining clip to one side. The connector had a red side to side push button on my Jeep. Who knows if that was consistent through out production. It's not easy to see on the engine, especially if it's covered with oil and grime. Knowing this will save you some aggravation when trying to unplug the electrical connector. One person can do this job. The only special tool I required was a deep well socket that was 1 1/16 in size. The auto store sells these for about $14.00. The usually are designed just for this job and can be multi-sized.

Fixed low oil pressure fluctuation
Product was a good product that fixed the oil pressure problem. Only problem was the electrical clip removal not a problem with this product. Bought one for my son's jeep and fixed his problem also. Get OEM...

Buy the special socket
PErfect part for my 2003 rubicon. Replaced bad oil pressure sensor and cleared pressure gauge fluxuation and trouble light.Buy the special socket made to replace the unit it made my job very easy. Also add a littler extra gasket sealer as many state leaks due to not enough pipe tape.Mine went on easy with the socket and did not leak with the form a gasket I added.

Glad I purchased this!
Installed easy, works perfectly. It cleared my oil pressure switch trouble code and doesn’t leak oil anymore. It’s only been in my truck for about 2 weeks, but so far so good.
