Favorite blades of a collage artist
These blades are so strong. I love that I can use them until they begin to dull. With the standard craft knife blades I break the tiny tip within the first few cuts. I may be a bit rough, I do hold tension in my hands. But I need a blade that will work with me. Also, the convenient packaging allows you to place the used blade in a separate compartment making it easier to dispose of safely.

excellent craft knives
I have been using several types of Olfa craft knives fpr several years and I really like them. These blades go to the Olfa "Art Knife". The Art Knife makes a nice companion to the traditional #11 pointed blade that is found on most hobby and craft knives. The Olfa blades are always extremely sharp (buyer beware!) and have always had good quality for me. These blades, as with all hobby knives, work best when sharp. At the prices of model kits these days, it is worth working with good tools to avoid ruining a project.. The fine tip on these blades usually snaps off somewhere during use, but the blade keeps a good edge for quite a while. I think the Olfa knives are worth the investment and recommend them to my friends who build models. I am glad to see Amazon carry this line at reasonable prices.
