Excellent
Excellent little combined light and bike horn , charges straight off the USB port on your computer or phone charger . The light has three functions and the horn has two " either a cheep sounding noise or a loud screech " Got mine from pax's bike shop in Taiwan via the Amazon market place and it took 10 days in total over the Christmas holidays

Great purchase, good light to be seen (not to see, and I imagine that in case of accident,it is not legally approved but most lights aren't anyway), not too agressive polite noise, loud noise that drivers hear, genius idea. I love it.

Love this smart horn when it worksHowever have problems with the extension to the handlebar which enables quick access to the horn- it snapped off on the first horn I bought without me even being aware that it had done so. On returning to Orp, they said a piece of the end was stuck inside. So I bought a new horn and extesnion thinking it was my fault. Left on my bike when shouldn't have done to make sure extension connection not affected. Unfortunately the horn then got stolen, so I bought a third and remove it regularly - about twice a week when bike at risk. Only bought it this month and already the connection is faulty owing to being unplugged regularly. So if you do buy this horn, perhaps steer clear of handlebar extension

2-1/2 Year Review. Limited Usefulness. Not Recommended.
When I received this light/horn I was sure I was going to like it. I quickly realized it's limitations. The soft chirp function of the horn is rarely recognized by pedestrians on a multi use path. People will look around, generally up, but not back to see what's coming. A normal bell sound is universally recognized and almost always works. The louder horn of the Orp is too loud for pedestrians, it scares and angers people. It does sometimes work with car traffic, if people have their car windows down. The horn's paddle switch broke after a little more than a year, so no more horn. The paddle switch hinge is hard plastic covered with silicone. The plastic hinge is very thin and fragile, not built robust enough for its intended use.The light is a flood light, very bright and very good for being seen, not too good for the rider to see riding at night though. After 2-1/2 years I still use the light for a flashing light, both day and night, for others to see me. The light is still working for that limited use.Given the limited lifespan of the horn, limited usefulness of the horn and limited usefulness of the light, the Orp was too expensive and I cannot recommend it.

Honest Assessment - Good horn for the trail
Firstly, I really like this device. It's very well built and the concept is great. It's almost a 5-start product.I had read other reviews that said that the horn was confusing to folks (bird noise?) and thought that this must be an exaggeration. So, I put it to my own test on a recent 15 mile trail ride. I only encountered 5 groups of walkers that were blocking the trail: 2 of the groups recognized the sound as a horn and shimmied out of the way, but to my astonishment 3 of the groups began looking straight up into the trees (for birds?) and never once behind them. Even when I switched over to the "loud" horn, they were still confused.Regardless, I consider that a fairly minor complaint. The horn definitely has a "friendly" tone that promotes goodwill on the trail. I'm satisfied and think that this will do well for me until they release ORP v2.0, which I will promptly buy!I'd also add that I had no problem with the horn rotating on the handle bar. I used the enclosed spacer to ensure a tight fit. The horn did not move at all during usage or the rough trail ride.**FOR URBAN CYCLISTS looking for a horn that provides a strong warning/deterrent to traffic and pedestrians, I would say that this is NOT the horn for you. In that case, you'll want something more aggressive. Hope this helps!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best horn/light system ever! worth the money! I love this system! The horn has two two tones...if the tip is held down you get the more aggressive loud WATCH OUT tone! if the tip is held up you get a more park friendly excuse me ma'am or sir tone LOL. The system holds a charge for a few days depending on your light patterns if you just keep the light on the battery will go in 3 hrs or less. I also recommend mounting this on a bar thicker than 22.2mm if not it'll be loose around it.

Additional Thoughts
I really think the ORP is a great little light/horn combo. As there are already plenty of other reviews explaining this product in great detail, this review will be short. I really just wanted to add a couple of thoughts that I think others have missed. For the record, I live in a large-ish city and I bike on both paved trails and in traffic.1. IT'S ALL IN HOW YOU USE IT-- Some people have mentioned that the "friendly" sound doesn't sound like a bike, and confuses people. I have found that the friendly noise is best used when passing a pedestrian in conjunction with announcing that you are passing on the left or right. Used this way, it really does help get a pedestrian's attention. I've found the ORP plus some basic human decency is actually very effective when passing distracted pedestrians. It is true that it is not that effective if you don't say anything, but in my experience, neither is a bike bell.2. IT'S ALL IN HOW YOU USE IT Pt. 2-- Further, I've found that the "friendly" noise is actually very helpful in some traffic situations. Say someone is stopped waiting to turn into the road you're currently on. Giving off the ORP's chirp plus its flashing lights can help alert them to your presence without antagonizing them. Same with some less congested intersections. I've had people wave acknowledgment after I've done it, which is wonderful as I hate rolling through intersections with no idea if the person has seen me.3. IT'S LOUDER IN THE FRONT, AND THAT'S GOOD-- Some reviews have commented that the ORP is too quiet. I imagine this is because they have never stood in FRONT of their bike while hitting the horn. It is very directional, which is good because it is very loud. I know it is not as loud as some bicycle sirens, but I have found it more than sufficient to jolt awake texting drivers.4. THE SIREN WORKS-- And, with that, let me just say that the ORP has saved me from some sticky situations. I have gotten cars to stop pulling into me by using it. That alone has been worth the price of admission. As for any negatives, I've found that it is not powerful enough to replace my dedicated front light at night. That said, it works for that in a pinch, and having a backup is always welcome. I have used it as a front blinky during the day and it does work great for that.

Love the dual horn sounds, but additional remote is required for true usefulness
I really love this horn. I came from a standard bike bell that cars never noticed. But I don't have that problem with this horn. I use the loud setting on the road to warn drivers at I intersections that I'm coming.I also like the lower setting for riding in the park or on multi-use paths and warnings pedestrians. It's much friendlier than the loud setting. However sometimes they don't pay attention to it so I have to use the loud setting.I also really like that it has a built-in headlight, albeit a weaker one. I have a separate, stronger one I use; however one day it failed in the middle of my rode, so it was great to have a backup.* IMPORTANT TIP * Purchase the extra remote for the horn. It wraps onto the handlebar for easy access to the horn. It's so much easier to use the horn with it.
