Clear 2O CWF1012 Water Filter (1-Pack)

There are plenty of reviews for the overall unit, so I thought I'd say a couple words about the replacement filters themselves.I like these filters quite a bit compared to the competition. Not only are they inexpensive and easy to install, but they (on paper) provide good filtration, and they last a decent while too (couple of months at least).I've also noticed that, while I haven't tested contaminant levels, one of these filters keeps water tasting good long after the indicator says it is finished.

I purchased a CO2 water pitcher and love how it makes my water taste, and that it removes far more contaminants than the Brita and Pur, but the hook-up to fill has its drawbacks. Read my review of the CO2 pitcher.

Environmental Working Group has a wonderful survey and analysis of water quality in different parts of the country, as well as reviews of different kinds of water filters: under the sink as well as pitcher style. This pitcher got highest marks by far of all the pitcher filters reviewed, and it's so inexpensive. Of course, they get you with the cost of the filter refills, but I'm happy to pay for such good quality, and it sure beats slow poisoning by chlorine/fluoride/other toxins in our city water. Way cheaper and better than bottled water!

I GOT THE PITCHER AND IT WAS GOOD THE FIRST MONTHS. THE FIRST FILTER THAT CAME IN IT WORKED GOOD. THE SECOND FILTER THEY SENT ALONG WITH IT ONLY LASTED A MONTH UNLIKE THE FIRST ONE WHICH LASTED A GOOD 2 MONTHS. IT IS FAR TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THESE REPLACEMENT FILTERS. I WILL LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT PITCHER. THIS FILTER PRICE IS JUST TOO HIGH. ONCE YOU ADD THE SHIPPING, THEN YOU REALLY HAVE A PRICEY FILTER.

Unless you have a "standard" type faucet or are willing to replace your kitchen faucet with one that fits this fussy contraption, don't bother. I couldn't make this work and who wants to have a water pitcher that requires that much trouble?

Best water filter system on the market. A bit of a pain with the nozzle, but well worth it for great water. Water with no aftertaste. Sad but US water is so inconsistent. This system works great. But the price of this filter is nuking futts. I used to buy them for $4 or less. Now I have. Seen them as high $18. That is just wrong. I own the product, but I am considering a new filter system. But I have noticed all filter prices are rising. Smelling conspiracy folks. Reminds me of OPEC.

I use my Clear 2O picture for everything from morning coffee to filling the dogs water bowl. The water taste great and there are a lot less plastic bottles in my home. The life of the filter lasts and the cost of replacement is relatively inexpensive compared to purchasing many water bottles.

This is a great replacement filter; it fit perfectly and works as advertised. I had no problems installing it as it was very simple ( Took less than 10 seconds)
