I have reached a point in life where I am blazing hot one minute and freezing the next. I need a fan nearby but it was getting to be a hassle to get up and turn it off and on repeatedly and to also adjust the speed to suit my needs. I bought this one to go next to the bed - it is ideal to use the remote to turn it on and off during the night without having to get out of bed every time and risk sticky my hand in the blades because I'm all wonky. The remote control works perfectly. I wish there were more than 3 speeds - a similar one I bought at the same time (but in black) has 12 speeds. That is the only reason I am knocking off one start. Assembly was fast and easy. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Very strong and heavy. That is what pedestal fan should be. It isn't that easy to knock it over, thanks to the thick and heavy base. A side from that, the fan was very easy to put together except when you want to connect the front grill to the back grill. It was a little tricky because you would have to balance everything and clip them together properly so it doesn't look crooked. I use the brand label to level the front grill. Once they are attached, you can forget about it. The grill will not fall off. The lcd screen makes the fan looks modern and easy to read. The remote controller is my favorite thing because i can control the fan from far distance. Overall, it is a great product and it works as expected. I wish they could make it go up and down by the remote controller, that would make it perfect and unique. I hope the next version will have this feature built-in. Thanks Climatik

I bought the original CPF-100 fan. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. The first one still works fine a little more than a year later but the second one crapped out. Despite that, I ordered the same one again (or so I thought). They sent the new CPF-200 model instead. The CPF-100 model is not available any longer.This new model has a cheaper build. It rocks when it runs a little bit (the other one didn't). They've replaced the hard, sturdy plastic in the stand where you can raise or lower the fan with a cheap thin metal piece.The fan itself is MUCH noisier - and not in a good way. They've updated the fan to include three new modes (which weren't on the 100 model) which are "Natural, Regular and Night modes." When you use a couple of the modes the fan will go slower, then speed up, then go slower. It's enough to make you nauseous. And I don't understand why they changed to this. Always trying to improve things I guess. One could just use the regular mode I suppose but the new fan motor is decidedly louder than the CPF-100. I sent it back and won't be buying again. And it's too bad because the 100 model was terrific. I loved everything about it. It was sturdy. Motor didn't make noise and the fan blades put out an amazing amount of air. The newer model still does.I think you might still like this fan but I'm on the lookout for something new. The other fans I've checked out so far are made so cheaply that I might end up back with this model but I'm hoping I can find something as good as the CPF-100.

Having bought a lot of things online over the years, you often never know what you're going to get. This product is amazing. The 5 fans push a lot of air for cooling. The only negative I have related to that is that, even on low, it's almost too much. For a small bedroom it can be so much air that it could dry your mouth while you sleep. The remote is terrific. I read one reviewer who complained that he/she wished the LED would be something to turn off. Apparently they didn't give the unit enough time to execute the built in process where, after about 5 minutes, that goes dark so you don't see it at all.One tip when putting it together is that there's a small plastic piece that comes with the two fan pieces and you have to unscrew the little screw and then pull it down so the parts come apart. Then when you put things together, you put that piece back on and clip it together and screw it back together. Very simple but it took me a minute to figure it out as there was no reference to that in the instructions.But I couldn't more highly recommend this fan. And the remote works great . Just really built well. And I like the look of the clear 5 fan part inside the fan housing. It's elegant, quiet and just pushes a ton of air. Excellent product. Bravo!

Only giving 4 stars because I liked the previous version of this fan better. Unfortunately, my older one died and I ordered this one. I still recommend the fan over anything you can find at Walmart or any budget fan. I'm the type of person that sleeps with the window cracked in the winter because I run hot. This fan turns room temperature air frigid. It's almost too cold on it's lowest setting and that's a compliment. I can't imagine a fan that blows cooler than this one. If you run hot this is the fan for you.Also, I never thought I needed a remote for a fan but I was wrong.

I ordered two of these to use in the summer. Set one up on receipt and it lasted 2 summers. Set up the second just recently and it lasted maybe 2 weeks. Very disappointed. I’ve had other fans which stayed boxed till assembly and they lasted years.

Great Fan. Pretty quiet. Sturdy AF. If you are worried about it wobbling… put your mind at ease. It’s foundation is very heavy and sturdy.The only con is that the remote really needs a direct line to the panel on the fan to work. I wish you could be a little inaccurate. But you really need a direct line of sight.Was gonna dock it one star but seemed too picky.One word of caution - the white cap the screws on to keep the fan in place goes against the “righty tighty lefty loosey” rule and it took me a few to figure out why it would go on lol. Otherwise a seamless set up experience.Arrived just in time for a big heat wave. Super grateful.

this is a wonderful fan. it has lots of controls on it. i do wish it came in different colors, or at least a choice between black & white, but it’s a really great appliance! the only thing bad about it, is that the remote only works if you’re about 3-4 feet away from the fan.. which makes it really hard to be able to actually use the remote on it. but other than that, you should buy it!
