Nice little welder. I changed the plug to 50 amps 240 volts to match my wiring. I haven't stick welded in maybe 30 years...tried welding 1/8 " steel flat bar and had no problem starting an arc or with sticking. Used hot start and anti stick setting. 6013 3/16 rods. Made a better looking weld than with my mig. I took two big wrenches on each side of the weld for bending the bar to test the weld. The bar, itself, bent into a v shape near the weld but the weld did not break.

I purchase this item in April of this year, after using the product 4 times it stopped working. I contacted the seller through Amazon and was promised a replacement. After a little over a month and no replacement in site I contacted the seller again and was told to wait the replacement would be sent out. It is now six months since my issue with this product and no replacement and I can no longer contact the seller through amazon because that feature is time bound and has expired. I purchase from Amazon all the time and I would like to know write is the help in situations like this, I write write a negative review every month if I have to until someone addresses this problem.

The media could not be loaded. The first arc 200 had some damage while in transit and would not hot start. Hzx vogan ask me a few questions about the malfunction and immediately sent me a replacement . I'm no professional my friend is a master welder he stated it's the best machines he's used in his life as he showed me how to strike, it is very beginner-friendly also or Rusty friendly I took right to it like I'd been welding all my life it is that easy. Summed up in one word smooth!!! .

Well I was a bit skeptical about how the performance of this little guy would be at first.Pros-easy to use -takes up very little space -priceCons-it doesn’t come with a 220 plugI put a plug on it and used a 1/8-6013 rod at 156 amps and it laid a pretty good weld on a rusty plate. I think had I grounded it first it would have been better.If your a hobbiest, this is a pretty good machine to have. Hell you’re only out a few bucks. It surprised me for sure.

Would have given 5 stars if there were an information on what kind of plug neededI know nothing about these things so I’m ordering the proper things so he can use the welder at home but other than that it’s very nice he loves it an everyone is asking where he got it an how much an they thought we were pulling their leg when we told them the price lol great product for price just need more information about it online used one time an quit working

Very small compact welder but does a huge amout of work. Have been using it for about a month on and off and so far I have been very impressed by this little welder. So far everything I have tried to weld with it the welder has had no trouble doing it. If you are in need of a good welder and don't have much space I recommend this welder deffinetly a great value as well.

Hzxvogen has some of the best customer service I have dealt with through Amazon. This welder is a very good buy forvthe money, I had a slight issue with one of these little machines and couldn't be happier with how HZX handled it. I will be doing more business in the future. They also offered me a pair of welding gloves while handling the issue.

Nice welder , portable and welds great. I use it for mower decks , grills , so I’m not using it as an all day tool and that’s the only thing I don’t know is how it will hold up long term but for the price, I get another one .
