It's cheap, is casts, works for the rod/reels/lines for our scouts

Just spend weekend putting this line on 12 reels for a boy scout troop as we were on a budget. So far so good seems to cast fairly well on the cheep rods we have so can't make any comments on the overall quality as even great line wouldn't cast superbly on the rods we have. A few thoughts:Sink tip line didn't sink out of the box. But I have had that issue with even more expensive lines. A quick bath in warm water with a little dish soap and the light oil from manufacturer (on all lines) is cleaned off and it now sinks.Line doesn't come on a spool, which makes winding onto reel a little more difficult but not much if you do it right. If you try to "unspool" the line like its on a spool you will make a mess of knots. Just let loop rest in your hand as if it was a garden hose hanging on a hook. Then gently lift loops of the line off your hand as if you were taking garden hose off a hook on the wall. Don't spin the line in your hand just let it hang and take the loops off your hand with your other hand. Take 9 to 10 loops off your hand, reel it onto reel, then take another 9 to ten loops off, etc.You can do it by yourself but goes much faster if you have one person reeling and other holding line and taking loops off their hand. Group of boyscout's successfully did this on 12 reels this afternoon. If you are getting knots, you are doing it wrong.Doesn't have loops on the ends. But most cheap lines don't. Not as big of a deal for us as are learning knots and tied nail knots with leader on the end of the line. But if its important to you then you will need to add a loop to the end if you use loop end leaders.

Great line, awful loose packaging mess.

The line itself is nice! I got the sink tip 8wt line for some striper fishing. The sink rate is as expected and it casts great. I also have their WF2 on my brook trout rod and my only complaint with them is the way they are packed. There is no spool, so it is a MESS getting onto your reel. No matter how careful you are, it will become a birds nest. I said when I bought the 2wt line that I didn't care how cheap it was, the puzzle putting it on was not worth it. I still bought the sink tip 8wt and it was the same way. Other than that, it's a great all around line! Casts well, sinks as it should, and has plenty of strength for monsters!

A bargain.

The longer we fish the more rods and reels we collect. After a while, we have two or three reels or reel spools for each of our rods. In a perfect world we’d have $100 fly line on them all... if only....I bought this line in a sink tip 8wt size for my 7wt rod, and I give it a big thumbs up! Used daily for three months now, fishing for river smallmouth and lake largemouth and spawning catfish. It still casts perfectly and shoots more than adequately. And it cost $16 and change!

Good line better price

I bought this only because of the price figured couldn't go wrong. Boy was it worth it this line works great. Sinks well and casts very good. Had little to no memory which was great. Been using it and caught many fish with it already. This line is so good my dad had me order him one after trying mine out.

Good sinking line. Packaging could use some improvements

Good price for a sinking line. Caught several chum salmon on it and held up beautifully. Only part that had a little difficulty was the way it was packaged. It is just one big looped line and you needed to be careful when loading the reel initially or knots would form. However, still great product and that did not diminish from the quality of the actual product

Great for the price

Alright, so I live in Florida, it’s hot and humid as hell. After reading the other reviews I now understand the issues with the line. So with the heat, the line does get sloppy and floppy, but! It does sink and does the job! For the price, you can’t beat it! As long as you have mastered double hulling, you will have absolutely no problems shooting this line 20-25 yards. Otherwise, you will encounter some tangles. The packaging does need minor improvement. If the line came on any kind of spool or cylinder, it would be perfect and get 5 stars.

Don.t hesitate order this line, you.ll be glad you did

This is a great product.Sinking tip worked fine. No memory to the line, in fact, the line is made with a slippery finish worked great in kayak not grabbing everything. I caught specks and red fish, this line performed excellent. Does not come with loop at end and with the slippery finish, recommend using a knot adhesive with your knotHighly recommend I will order some of the other lines for my other reels

Good quality for price

Bargain price and a good quality line. PerPicture, comes without a spool which makes loading on reel more difficult. No welded loops but nail knots worked fine for years and at a price 1/3 of premium it's a bargain
