Not 65 Servings
The bag says 65 servings with 1tbsp equaling a serving. I was portioning out the bag to split with 2 other people and there were only approximately 25 tbsp in the bag. Either the serving size on the bag is wrong and should be tsp or the bag I was sent was short.

Dried and coarsely grinded 100% organic guava leaves; made in U.S.A
This "Guava Leaf Bulk Herbs" for tea seems to be well made in the U.S.A. There seems to be a slew of health benefit of drinking guava leaf tea. Please be aware that there isn't any actual "tea" leaves here (hence no caffeine at all; which a good thing, you don't really drink this "tea" for its caffeine). The dried leaves are coarsely grinded, and they do not expand too much after steeping. The flavor of the "tea" is ok, a tiny bit of bitterness towards the end, but totally acceptable (actually quite interesting). Natural oils will be released during the process. You can easily go a few more rounds re-steeping if you use a tea bag or a strainer in your cup with this tea.I cannot attest to the health effect of this on me yet, but I will continue to drink it. At the minimum, it tastes fine to me.This is not cheap for only 4oz of these, but a little bit seems to go a long way. I uses about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (3-5g) of leaves for my large 20oz cup, and I drink it at least a few rounds thru the day.Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Very good tasting tea with many health benefits
I have heard about the health benefits of guava leaves but I have never tried them so I had to give these a try. These guava leaves are organic and every batch is quality control tested. I opened the resealable bag and took smelled the contents, pleasant clean dried plant like smell. The leaves are ground pretty fine and when I put them in my tea ball strainer and let the leaves steep there was quite a lot that got out of the ball and into my tea. The tea has a mild pleasant taste, not harsh or bitter at all, I sweetened with honey and it tastes delicious. I love that this is caffeine free so I can drink it before bed.All in all this is a delicious tea to drink hot or cold with quite a lot of health benefitsI’m very happy to drink this every evening and I save the rest in the refrigerator for the next day.I would definitely buy this again and I do recommend it!

Interesting tea
I have grown Guava trees for years but never knew that their leaves had beneficial properties. The Guava Leaf Bulk Herbs brand of organic dried guava leaves is an easy to use bulk herbal product that can be made into a tasty in about 8 minutes.I am intrigued by the use of the leaves for digestion and healthy blood sugar levels. My current concern though is hair loss and thinning. I use this for that plus to calm my nerves and quiet my mind.As for hair benefits, I can't see any yet but have only just begun drinking this. It doesn't cause digestive issues per se and I use 2 cups a day. It does calm my nerves similar to passionflower and maybe helps in that regard about 20%.Overall, this is a nice leaf product that has some great benefits if you have one of these specific conditions.

Distinct flavor that's unpleasant when brewed strong
As long as you brew this weak, it's ok. But it's easy to make it too strong because a small amount of the bulk tea makes a lot of potent tea and when concentrated or even just brewed the way I would other herbal tea, it has a rather unpleasant taste that is hard to describe beyond "medicinal". I wouldn't think I would have to say this but for those who really don't put two and two together: this will not taste like guava fruit. It is made from dry leaves and tastes as such. There is no added fruit flavor or anything like that. Also, the leaves are ground fine enough that a lot of debris got through my tea egg (which has very small holes) and I was chewing on leaves.Smells and tastes fresh, not old or like it's been sitting around for too long. I haven't noticed any benefit from drinking it and don't put a lot of stock in the claims about what it can do for you but if you're looking specifically for guava leaf tea, this seems like a good company.

Would Drink For the Purported Healthful Properties, Not So Much For Taste
I like all sorts of tea beverages, particularly those that have some sort of health benefit. However, this tea's flavor isn't at all pleasant to me. It smelled slightly of mint, but once I drank it, it's flavor was nothing like what it smells like. It has a very earthy flavor with some bitterness. However, because it does have so many (purported) health benefits according to my research, I would still drink this for the healthful properties. I just don't care so much for the flavor, which isn't nasty, but it also isn't something I crave the flavor of.The tea leaves were ground, but not to the point of matcha or ground pepper. I was concerned that it would leak through my tea strainer, but only a faint amount remained at the bottom of the cup. The tea arrived in a resealable package that makes keeping it fresh easy. Again, I would drink this as a medicinal tea, but not necessarily for taste. While there are many purported health benefits, this tea isn't for any who suffer or who have suffered with eczema, as this tea could make it worse. Thanks for reading.

good quality, tastes fresh, but steeps too strong
We like Guava fruit and have actually used guava leaves before when we traveled tropical countries. Typically you can eat fresh leaf tips of the tree and they smell (as well taste) as this tea. I think the serving size (of 1 tbsp) to make the tea is way too much as it steeps so dark and bitter that it is difficult to drink even adding cream. It tastes better or reasonable to drink with 1/2 or less tbsp for an 6 oz cup. Not sure if there are scientific studies but guava leaves do find their place in ayurvedic medicine that does not have much statistical data. I doubt if it has so many medicinal value as stated in description but it will not do harm and generally used by diabetic.
