Tandy Leather Factory1227-02 Waxed Nylon Thread, 25-Yard Spool, Brown

If you're used to the 4 oz Blue Mountain heavy leather stitching thread traditionally carried by Tandy, be aware this is NOT that product. Nothing wrong with this stuff, but it's pretty flimsy and has virtually no perceptible wax on it. These are little rolls - about 1" diameter by 3" long.

I used this to sew together some pieces of artificial leather, which I punched to "sew" the fabric together. It is waxed and fairly easy to use. I used short pieces of wire to pull the thread through the holes, which worked better than sewing needles. the repair was to arms of outdoor furniture...so time will tell as to how long the thread will last.

We use this to sew many of our leather products we make here in our shop. It works for us and we like it. Good quality and good price point. Would buy again.

Easy to work with. I used some to stitch a cell phone case. It came untied after a year if heavy use.

It’s waxed thread I can’t really say much about it. Other then it’s quite durable

Worked well on my leather sofa. I just wish it was darker.

slightly thinner than the stuff i usually use, but seems to be pretty strong.
