Excellent Broad Beam Headlight for a Great Price
Most importantly this light throws out a wide, bright white beam of light that clearly lights up everything in front of you. I occasionally ride off road at night confidently with this on my handlebars and a similar light on my helmet (just in case one dies). The case is made of aluminum and feels sturdy and well finished. It is easy to attach to your bike's handlebars. The only weakness I noted is the mounting ring is not as secure as I would like for riding off road at night and could rotate when jumping or hitting bumps. I haven't had an issue yet but I have been primarily using this on smooth roads so far. I don't fault the light for this but it is blinding to oncoming traffic so I try to cover it with my hand in certain situations. The light stays cool to the touch during extended use and the battery life is great! I can use it a few times between charges. You just cant beat this light for the price.I purchased this light along with a similar light that is round faced (this one is more oval faced). The round face can project a little further with a tighter pattern where as this one has a slightly broader beam which can be good for close distance wide pan lighting . The two are very similar in all other aspects so I would guess they may be made in the same place.

So far so great!
I'm one of those people that researches extensively for days, weeks... even months.. prior to a purchase and this was no exception. I had looked at high-end bike lights from the likes of Lezyne, Bontrager, NiteRider, etc. as well as the broad selection on Amazon. I wanted something simple and functional with a high lumen rating but variable settings to optimize battery life when needed. This light combo fit the bill perfectly and came in at 50 or 25% the cost of some of the other aforementioned brands. I've only taken a few short night rides so far but am very pleased with the brightness and user experience. It's simple and intuitive to toggle through brightness modes or turn on/off. The fact that both lights are rechargeable was a must for me. The mounting system for the front seems very secure which will be critical as I'll be riding gravel and bumpy roads. The band system on the rear is nothing novel but works well. I bought sets for myself and my girlfriend and was tempted to buy another set for my MTB but have refrained so far.

Solid performance, but heavy and poor quality clip
This thing is a beast in performance - strong light, long-lasting battery - and build - sturdy-feeling, quite heavy. I wish the light were a bit more dispersed, as biking on a curvy, dark path is a little bit challenging with a narrow range of light. The mounting system is clever, but could be more effectively executed.Unfortunately, after a bit of use (1 year?), the metal clip on the device began to bend wider, resulting in the light becoming dislodged and falling to the ground. To remedy, I removed it (held on by two screws) to try and bend it back closed. This worked for a bit, but I've had the same problem a few more times, each resulting in the light falling on the road while biking. I wish the metal clip were made of sturdier, less bendable material (maybe steel, if it's currently made from aluminum).

Great brightness, easy installation, convenient design
The headlight will not only make you be seen, but allow you to see as well. There is a good focus point on the beam, and the peripheral light's range is wide (the portion of the projection that may light street signs). The way it clips into the mount takes some getting used to, but it's very convenient and the process is lightning quick. Very good if you have to lock up your bike and come back often. Affixing the mount itself to the bike is also easy and needs no tools. Mounting on a carbon fiber bike, the strap method the mount uses is appreciated.Holding it for the first time, you can tell it's durable. The black finish on the metal body looks very nice and it's pretty lightweight. The orange side lights are quite small though, almost negligible. It shouldn't be as big of a selling point as it's made to be in the description. The tail light can be adjusted in similar fashion to the front, and is also very vibrant and bright. Unfortunately, the battery life on either is unknown; I charge at the end of every day to be safe.Definitely pick up this light if you aren't interested in the higher end. It'll easily fulfill any use you may need, is super convenient, and, frankly, looks great on just about any bike.

Good product and great value. It is a deal.
I have purchased a total of three over a year ago, and they continue to work well. The flashing mode is great to be seen during daylight. It is not too heavy, it is easy to install, easy to attach/detach, and when charging the green color lets you know you have a full charge. It is a great product at a great price. If you wanted more lumens, you would get a heavier light (I know because I did). The tail light is an added bonus, but just the front light by itself is a great product and worth the price.

Very Solid and Bright for the Price
I bought one of these kits a week ago and liked it so much I bought another one for the wife's kid carrying cargo bike. The headlamp housing is aluminum and with its internal battery it has some heft. It uses a plastic mount that attaches to your handlebars with a thumb screw that pulls a threaded strap around the bar, kind of like a threaded zip tie. It's more secure than it looks like it would be and the light has a metal spring clip that holds it on well and allows it to be removed easily for charging, leaving the mount isntalled on the bar. None of this is super heavy duty, but it holds well. No idea how long it will last. I feel like light will outlast the plastic mount. The tail light is a bit small but is very biright. It uses the classic silicone strap that wraps around your seat post. Two are included. The battery life for both lights is pretty decent, even on high setting. It comes with two USB charging cables, one for each light. There are more expensive lights out there but this is a pretty good deal on some good visibility.
