ABCCANOPY Pop up Gazebo Canopy 3-Tier Instant Canopy with Adjustable Dual Half Awnings, Beige

Had one similar and it blew away and broke the first gust of wing. This one has roof vents to relive the air pressure. Had some gust the day I set it up no problem. Using far better stakes than come with the kit.

NOTE - this review was for the 10x10 ABCCANOPY, not the 10x17 the review is currently attached to. I do own a 12 x 12 of this same style listed here as well, but it is not the same style as the below review. My 12 x 12 is better suited as a sun shade v rain shelter, and is not quite as beefy as stated in the below review. However I will state in general that both the ABC's I own are of better quality than the cheaper ones you find at Wally World.Once again - this was for the 10 x 10 of a different style, apparently no longer available:I have owned many, and they all have only lasted a couple of years. This beast is the BEEFIEST I have ever seen. The frame is really heavy - easily twice as heavy as the others, and all the joints and locks are super heavy-duty. Generally, the joints and locks are what have failed on past EZ-ups. I LOVE the pointy roof, it prevents water from standing. I had it up in the woods for about 10days. One night it POURED, and another night it was a steady, moderate rain that lasted about 8hrs. Not once did I have to dump water from the top. Straight legs vs the splayed out ones make it easy to wrap it up in some tarp "walls" for driving rain. I winter camp as well, even in winter storms. I built a fire pit on my land that has a brick wall to reflect the heat at me. I use an EZ-up with 3 walls to keep snow off me, and the walls really help hold reflected heat. I can't wait to use this bad boy this winter - I am anxious to see if the pointy roof keeps snow from accumulating too! I will update after some heavy winter camping, as I update and return to all my reviews.... 7.24.2020***UPDATE*** 09.29.2021 - I am still using this EZ-UP without issue. It has been set up and taken down a couple dozen time. Held up winter camping just fine. Dry snow won't accumulate on the tent, however heavy wet snow does indeed stick. In the case of the heavy wet snow, it will only stick so much weight - after a few inches of accumulation, the whole sheet slides off in an avalanche. That part is not so fun if you happen to be standing under that edge! I cannot fault the EZ-UP for that though - overall this is a far superior design to the cheap unit you'll find at your local Wally World, and well worth the few extra sheckles.... Buy with confidence!!! I also upgrades my tent walls to the ABCCANOPY purpose built tent walls. Search for "ABCCANOPY Sidewall Kit"....*Pro tip - If you ARE using the cheap models and deal with rain puddling up, a pool noodle can prevent that. Get 4 pool noodles and put one in each corner. Tuck it between the frame and the cover in a U shape with the ends toward the outside and the base of the U pointing up towards the top. Google "pool noodle on ez up" and check the pics out. It really works!

Setup was ok No instructions were included If you watch the online video It doesn’t show that you have to undo the wing nuts of the canopy extender bars to get the canopy onto the frame Material seems thin (yet reinforced where the Velcro straps are Hoping it holds up well. Color is more of goldish color not beige

First year great! Used for maybe 2 months. Wrapped it up for the winter took it out. Even the slightest pressure to put canopy on made it rip everywhere. Wow. 1 year! Really. Emailed company. Update: I got a reply they have 6 months warranty on the canopy in one year on the frame and had the audacity to offer me another totally different inappropriate canopy with a whopping $20 discount instead of offering to replace our canopy which by the way is not sold on Amazon so we can't even buy the replacement now so he might as well throw away the frame too. Do not work with this company.Don't usually write bad reviews but want to prevent others from wasting money.

I like the better then average sturdiness of the legs. The extra shade provided by to extended ends, comes in very handy as the sun moves. Being able to lower them as needed is a plus attribute. I did NOT like the assembly instructions!!! They would have been more helpful with picture descriptions!!!Once the top was on it was very easy to pop up the center to lock it in place. I must emphasize easy for me, my wife would have had difficulty to push it up enough to lock.Working under it made it much more comfortable when Temps we're 95 to 100 degrees. The special underside material made a great difference.Have not yet taken it down for storage with the top in place so if the closes and easily fits in its storage back, I'm going to be very pleased.

We use this item until the snow flies. Our previous one was stolen. I don't think anything on the market would be sufficient for our needs. Love the adjustable sides to control the sun and breeze. The vent keeps us cool on the hottest days!

Took on a beach trip, lasted one day. Tent has poor wind resistance. Despite it’s weight, frame bent under pressure from a single strong (but not very strong) wind gust. Tent was tossed a few feet by the wind even though legs were tethered with provided stakes and sandbags. (Stakes seemed way too small for a tent this size.) Other beach tents and sun shades in the immediate area– all made of much lighter materials–remained in place and unscathed. Tent ended up blown several yards away and mangled beyond repair. Also:- Very difficult to set up the uppermost section of the tent properly. Poor design makes stretching the square of fabric over this section difficult and corners tend to get caught under the lip of the fabric from the main roof, effectively closing the “vent” that this section is meant to create.- Key joints are plastic and started to crack and warp after only erecting the tent a couple of times.- Unit’s carrying case was too basic for such a heavy unit (tent weighs about 60 pounds or so). There are wheels at the bottom of the carrying case, but it is not like a rolling suitcase with a handle that extends from sturdy metal housings that run the length of the case and provide support. One small polyester handle at the top bares all the weight of the unit. The design of the bag also makes it awkward to pull the unit if you are of average or above average height (5’10” or more).One positive note:The unit did provide excellent shade for a group of six (at least while it lasted)

I have only set this up once to see how it goes together. It took me less than 15 min by myself to have it all together and up properly. I am very hopeful, based on the weight and sturdiness, that it will survive better than the more expensive Coleman and Wood's shelter's I've had over the last few years. The test will be my tournament this weekend. I like that they provide sand bags, I do have weights and storm/hard ground pegs from previous tents. My only dislike is the bag. I wish they had the zipper run the length of the bag as well instead of only the circumference. I've already recommended this tent to my sister, if it holds up like I hope it will I'll be recommending it to everyone else.** UPDATE ** ABSOUTLEY LOVED IT!!! the awnings were fantastic extending the shade beautifully, very little movement with the wind. not sure about the legs and how durable they will turn out to be with only being held with the clip. I do wish there were some kind of markings to adjust the height equally. took me about 10 min to fully set up the tent including pegs. (it was strange that the storm tie is off the awning I would've preferred it off the main corner but I may look for another way to tie it the next time I use it.

Looked at so many options of Gazebos on the market and came across this one, delighted I decided to purchase it is so easy to assemble (even though the instructions were hopeless), well made, aphetically pleasing to look at and the side awnings are a massive plus when needed to shade from the sun as it moves around the garden….well worth the money 💰 👍
