Bounty Hunters

Not as bad as you might expect.
Okay. First, This is not Academy Award material. If you're expecting that, you will be disappointed. Second, I want to like these actors and compliment them. Most of the time, you can tell they are really trying their hearts out. Trish Stratus really was one of the better parts of this movie. Eye-candy sure, but also because she adds real physicality to the fight scenes. I'm guessing her wrestling background helped tremendously with that. Not the best actor, but hey, not the worst I've ever seen. Especially from the ranks of professional wrestling. I was never a follower of her or any wrestler since the mid-nineties really, but I had heard of her. I do want to say that Boomer was an unexpected treat. He reminds me of Diedrich Bader on steroids, But that's not a horrible thing. He had genuine heart in this film. Again, not the greatest actor, but hey, I wasn't coming into this expecting that. The rest of the cast was about meh. I mean, nothing against it, but they just didn't seem into their parts as much. Now, the action is actually pretty damn well-done. A lot of the time, I found myself getting into it. Story-wise, again, ho-hum. They do try to throw some twists in there, but ultimately nothing you haven't seen before. In summation, I would say just be careful what you're expecting. Oscar-worthy it is not. But if you want some relatively mindless fun, and don't invest too much of yourself into it, this movie is pretty enjoyable.

She Can Hunt Me Anytime
WWE legend and Yoga instructor Trish Stratus stars in this action packed thrill ride that reminds me a lot of Barb Wire starring Pamela Anderson. Jules, played by Stratus, leads her team of specialists on missions but hard times have come. However, now hope springs anew. There is a new $100,000 bounty to deliver an informant to the police before the mob can get to them. The mob offers Jules $1,000,000 to give the informant to them, however. If they do not, you guessed it, the informant and her team will be killed! Now her team must fight to the death with ruthless mob bosses and gangsters galore! Trish, as always, is HOT, GORGEOUS, and DEADLY. Rated R for violence and nudity. True Stratusfaction!

Lots of Wrestling-Style Action, Martial Arts
This is a fair movie, good only for Trish Stratus or general wrestling/martial arts fans. The story is lame, the dialog is only fair and is clogged with unneeded foul language, the acting is just okay overall. Production quality reflects the low-budget approach. Sexuality and nudity are limited to lingerie and dressing room scenes, with two boobs on a minor character in a short strip club scene.

Trish Stratus At Her Best
I saw the movie and it is a good action film. No problem with this film. This comes with features like the making of the film. It also has commentary to the film. I could recommend this to family and friends who are fans of Trish Stratus.

Very Light Entertainment, but not for the kids.
The movie would have been about 20 minutes shorter if the writers hadn't used the "f-word" almost every other word. Somebody needs to learn some other adjectives. Action was okay but very predictable. The movie was obviously designed to show off Trish Stratus' pro-wrestling talents, of which she is quite entertaining, but shouldn't quit her day job.

Un debutto scoppiettante.
Un debutto scoppiettante e tutto da vedere per Trish Stratus. Un film che non dà un attimo di respiro e che ti tiene incollato alla sedia fino alla fine.

A DECENT FIRST EFFORT
BOUNTY HUNTERS is a decent first effort by everyone involved. 7-time WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus' first foray into feature film highlights all the attributes that made Trish famous in the squared circle: great charisma and great athleticism. She does all her own stunts(no wires) and her acting is better than most athletes turned actors. One must admit though that the main reason one even notices this movie is because Trish is on the cover and you happen to be a pro wrestling fan. That's not to say that you won't enjoy it if you're not a fan. You take it for what it is: a low-budget action film with unknown actors. Don't expect big shoot-outs and explosions here. First-time director Patrick McBrearty makes the film move along at a decent pace, also including a car/ambulance chase scene. Actor Boomer Phillips looks like the Canadian version of Jason Mewes, also providing the comic relief. About the only thing that bothered me was the actor who portrayed the mob boss, giving an overzealous and caricature rendition of a Tony Soprano and other tv/film mob characters.Overall BOUNTERS HUNTERS was a decent little action flick that makes me look forward to what Trish Stratus will do next.

Trish Stratus
The only reason to see this movie is because of Trish Stratus. If you are a WWE fan you know who she is. This is not a skin flick if you want to see Trish not wearing much you could probably very easily find Trish wearing less then she is in this movie by looking up one of her early WWE Bra and Panties matches. This is not a good film but any stretch. The one thing if does do it allows Trish to shine in her movie debut. Her acting is actually very good, but then again everyone else in this movie acts very badly it made her look good. She especially exceled in the action scenes, they are right out of her WWE matches. The story is Strip-bar-tender by night, and bounty hunter by day Trish and her team capture their latest bounties. The second one offers them a trade they let him go and will give them information leading to a much higher paying bounty. Then a mob boss, who would rather see this person dead than turned over, offers them $1,000,000 to deliver their bounty straight to him.An all-round good performance from Trish, too bad about the rest of the cast. I hope she get another movie role with a decent cast and story, to help her career.

Go for it.
I've seen a lot of movies with females as the lead role as tough people and don't do the movie justice, nothing against that but if she is to play the part than she should be able to make it a hit, in my opinion she did a great job with this one as the action is great, marvellous acting so to buy this it has to be okay. Now as a bounty hunter she finds an informant with a big million dollars bounty on his head so decides to cash him in, But someone else is wanting him as well with a dead or alive situation rises she fights to keep him from the baddies. Now with munchies in tow and remote it's time for this fast full on action with twist and turns throughout making it watchable, Finding something different all the time is getting harder but I'll take on other movies as well. So I rated this an A grade plus for the fabulous storyline that keeps the interest going from beginning to the end. Enjoy!

Left Stratusfied
I was actually impressed with Trish's movie debut. Her fight scenes were a highlight, but the movie's comic relief in Boomer Phillips actually made me laugh more - though I did have to wait to see the out takes at the end of the movie to get the laughs. The movie is very short, so if you paid little for it, it is a bargain. Low budget? of course? Cliched? Naturally. Do you think of Barbed Wire? possibly. I know I did! Fact is, between Pamela Anderson and Trish Stratus, only one woman would leave me Stratusfied, wanting more!
