I purchased this three pack of dried chilies a little over a month ago. The peppers were fresh (even though they were dried), bright and had a great aroma. First thing I did was use them for a mole sauce. And man, did they deliver! Their flavor came through and did not just add heat to the sauce. I used them to make homemade chili paste. They created a fiery and flavorful paste that I used for homemade chili and an Asian stir fry. I highly recommend this trio if you like flavor and heat. Without the Arbol peppers, you will have a great chili component on their own, some heat, some sweet and some smoke. The addition of the Arbol adds that nice steady heat and added flavor.

I wanted to use quality chilis in my Flank Steak In Adobo Sauce. A stroke of good fortune when I bought Ole Mission Dried Chili Peppers. I have prepared previous meals with other store bought chilis and it's been hit and miss when trying to get that perfect "palate pleaser". The quality as one would say is in the taste..and Ole Mission delivered. These came well packed and each of the packets can be re-sealed air tight for later use. I will purchase this brand again.

The six pack of whole dried chiles is a wonderful assortment. I didn’t want to have to run around trying to find different types so this was perfect for me. They all have lots of flavor and the right amount of heat. Each type is in a resealable heavy plastic bag which keeps them fresh. Got them originally to make a Mexican mole but I have used them now in a number of different dishes and they always add great flavor. Enjoy mixing and matching different combinations of two or three to customize taste, heat and smokiness. Will definitely buy this brand again once I finish these.

This was my first foray into using authentic peppers, noth just the dried stuff from the store. IT really does make a difference, from the first smell when you open the bag to the meal you're preparing. Folks who grew up with fresh peppers rave about what a differecnce they make. I see what they mean now.

After years in Asia as well as Texas we love spicy food. This particularly bundle of different chilis we brought to our summer house in the Swedish archipelago. Great dinners during the loooooong Scandinavian summer nights are magic! The different chili inspires to all kinds of cooking. Thanks for a good product

I haven't used the peppers yet, though I did open them and taste them all and they are of the quality I would hope for. I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity for the cost (4oz is a healthy amount of dried peppers!) and even more pleased with the customer service from Marcus, the owner. He proactively reached out to me to ensure UPS delivered on time (they did) and to inquire about what I was cooking with them. It was a really nice touch and I will be ordering all of my spices from here from now on!

These spices should expire at least 2 up to 3 years of shelf life. I went to use them after purchase and they expired 8 months after purchase. I used 1 TBLS of each and now they are expiring, that $9 a Tablespoon, we deserve better!
