I love these clippers! I have a small cairn terrier as well as a great dane so finding a clipper that works well on both of them is difficult.. The grips on the handles are amazing as it allows me to accuratly clip my smaller dogs nails (not her favorite thing so its usually a challange) as well as making it WAY easier to clip my big guys. Hes large and his nails are THICK. The grip helped alot with this and the blade part worked really well on his his thick nails. Over all very happy with these nail clippers!

This is the best purchase I have ever made! I have tried every clipper, file and Dremel-type device on my 50+ lb dog with absolutely no luck. With everything closed including non-emergency vet visits and groomers it was absolutely necessary to find a way to cut my dog’s nails. This worked perfectly! The guard prevented me from cutting her quick and the blades were so sharp that there was no crushing. I only needed one person’s hep to restrain her because she kept trying to lick me but there was no fight and no dramatic cries (from her or me). All 4 paws were done in less than 2 minutes.

I have always been terrified of cutting my dog's nails because I am afraid to hurt him and its hard to tell how short is too short.We decided to purchase these nail clippers to give them a try. The one problem we have (which you'd have with any nail clippers) is getting the dog to stay still. As my dog is 11 months, he is still fascinated by the new object and won't stand still. For us, the clipping had to be a two person effort.All in all- good clippers and they get the job done. They serve their purpose.

Edit** Changing to 5 stars as I've been able to compare to more expensive clippers. These are way sharper and work great now that my puppies nails and paws are bigger.Pretty good for the price. A little bulky still for my puppy but gut right through her nails with ease. Feels comfortable to hold.

These worked great for my standard poodle. She has black nails and I was really paranoid that I would cut into the quick. I cut the nails conservatively and at an angle. Though I lacked enough confidence to also order QikStop in case there was bleeding: the job was a success and my girl won’t panic when she sees the clippers for next trim. The product was sharp and worked very well.

Great product, the spring helps the user when cutting the nails (even when wet, i wet my dogs paws first to cut the nail easier). My 3 boxers aren’t scared of it and no damage to the clippers at all.

Strong and sharp. Bought these to replace my old nail clippers and with these new ones, it was easy to clip my dog's nails (no catching or extra effort needed.) I recommend. I have a small dog, but use the large size because I wanted to make sure I got through the nail on the first cut.

I have 5 macaws and these are the clippers I use to trim their talons. These clippers do not crush the talon cuts clean. with The pressure caused by other clippers can be uncomfortable and hurt my birds. I will not use or buy anything else but these clippers. I feel very confident that these will be wonderful and will not cause pain to cats and dogs based on the fact that they are awesome and do not cause pain or discomfort to my macaws.

Bought these for our elderly Labrador in between grooms. She doesn’t walk far now so her nails don’t get worn down. These clippers are great they cut through her tough nails very well. Very happy with them.

These clippers turned out to be just what I was looking for, well made, functional & nice sharp cutting blades.

So far these clippers are easy to use, and I like the option of an e booklet. There are some safety instructions on the reverse of the pack which is good too.
