read update 7-1-20everything looked great, had system installed and tuned (line out converter) for add a sub to a standard system. sub was hitting hard and i was very happy with amp output. After less then 20 mins the sub stopped working ....i thought it might be a loose connection in the box...upon sub removal the copper wire voice coils where birdnested inside the sub basket between woofer and magnet. since this was a matched set (all in one 8" system) dont see why amp blew woofer. amp is still fine, i really like the box....need another woofer....SKAR will you help me with That?????Excellent customer service, sent me a new sub and its been working just fine....waited a few months to make sure no issues....great sub for the price

Easy to install but time consuming. Sounds great. Hits every beat, can feel it to the drivers seat. Highly recommend. Small but hits hard.

Very pleased with this 8" sub. I've always been about bigger magnet/decent subs for a good value. I've ran massive systems in my Tahoe's over 15k watts but dont really need that much base anymore, been looking at skar audio for some time now and finally decided to just go with the 8" in my Cadillac ATS. This hits clean, hits the deep notes just fine, not overpowering, can still play with the stock sh***y Bose system and sounds great. All around decent sub for a great price!

If you’re looking for some boom in a compact size, grab the 8”.Shipping - received it a day early, prime is crushing it. Box was in good condition.Packaging - everything was well packaged, extra care was applied to the sub to give it a better chance of arriving safety.Installation - Pretty straight forward, if you’ve installed a Sub and Amp before you will have no problems.Product Quality - Sub and enclosure A+, Amp A+. Wiring kit: Overall I give it a B, the power and ground wires are great. The Remote wire needs some beefing up, it took a some time to stripe this, as the gauge is very small. Once striped, the terminal on the Amp did not want to hold the small gauge. Fix - increase the gauge and decrease the insulation or factory install terminal lug. RCA cables felt a little cheap but, worked good.Sound - Now this is we’re I was blown away!!!! It’s a 8” subwoofer so, you’re not going to blow the windows out or get the cops called on you. But, it hits harder than I expected. If you are looking for a boost to the bass in your car and don’t want your chest caved in. I fully recommend this product.Good Job Skar

Was good while it lasted, one month then smoke started coming out of the sub and I do not turn the bass up all the way up. I usually have it right in the middle so I'm not sure why it blew the speaker.

Got the product, had it professionally installed. The amp was junk. Sent back for another amp, had it installed yet again and worked for 5 mins. Sending this amp back for a refund. Not to happy with the products.

Amazing for the price. Everything worked right out of the box. Included everything you need. Much louder then expected 😎 sounds amazing
