Dr. Clark Liquid Vitamin D Supplement – 1000 IU, 1 Fl Oz, Supports Immune System & Bone Health

I chose this product based on cost comparison and on carrier purity. It is the lowest cost I could find by far. It costs $14/oz compared to Genestra D3 1000 at $19/oz, premier research labs at $25/oz, solaray #$30/oz, innate choice $33/oz, all the way up to $80/oz for Ddrops 1000. This product arrived beautifully packaged, it also contained an insert about "what you should know about vitamin D toxicity". I appreciate this kind of care. The bottle looks exactly as it does in the photo, a single drop is easy to get, and the taste is mild. I will have my blood levels checked after 8 weeks of use to see how effective it is. So far, I love the care.Update: it seems that I am one of the few for whom oral cholecalciferol and ergocalciferol supplementation causes heart palpitations among other intolerable side effects. However, 12 days of one drop daily 1000 iu drops from Live Wise Naturals and 13 days of one drop daily 1000 iu drops from Dr. Clark over 3 months did increase serum D3 by 8 ng/ml (14-22 ng/ml). I think this product is effective.

Glass bottle, no taste, great ingredients, and is working to boost my vitamin D levels. I thought I was in the sun enough and got enough D through diet and a small amount was in a k2/D3 supplemt that I took a couple times a week but my level was 18! After 8 weeks of taking this and exposing more of my skin in the sun I'm at 26. Getting there!

I began taking 5000 IU of this supplement daily on 4/3 and by my next blood draw on 6/15 my levels had increased from 25 ng/mL to 53.5 ng/mL. I did not experience any negative side-effects, though I know that taking this amount of vitamin D3 is somewhat controversial. I previously took 2000 IU of vitamin D3 gel capsules for about 6 months daily and was only able to increase my levels by 3 ng/mL. I therefore am happy that this supplement was able to help me reach optimal levels. It has a slight olive oil taste, but this did not bother me at all.

I’ve been using this for my daughter for a long time.. she has low vitamin d. Very easy to add to water or a drink.

Easy to take. My vitamin D levels stay where they need to be over the long winter. My doctor tests me in the spring. I’ve always been deficient in the past. This is my 4th winter taking this brand, and it works great!
