Works, but the ranges in colors is so wide.Also, the strip's natural color before even using it, is already between 0 - 50 ppb40 or 50 is above most accepted limits. I would recommend these if you need to know that your water has mercury ABOVE50 ppb (.05 ug/L)

I use quite a few of these strips for analytical testing we perform and they are always accurate. Great product.

I bought this to check the mercury level in our water hoping there would be can color chart for reference but there isn't one so I have no idea what the strips indicate other than parts per million. Ppm of what? The package lists many chemicals but what colors for what? Went to the website for help and there is none! Don't waste your money all you'll see is a color for something you don't know!

I had tested my drinking water with SensSafe Mecury Check which registered 50 PPM. This prompted professional, more expensive testing that had no reading at all on their equipment. I had rechecked several times with the same results. Perhaps the strip reacted with other elements.

Yes, was surprised by results, ever house needs to test their water, don't trust your supplier, ours came out ok, but still have filter system, water is 90% of our body!!!
