Zenex H11 3000K HID Xenon Bulbs (1 Pair, Golden Yellow)

 Product comes in great packaging. The bulb itself is visibly clear. I was expecting a yellow (3000k) color, but during testing, the bulb only emits a warm white (4300k) color. During investigation, this product can only be used with a 35 watt ballast, as I only use 55 watt ballasts, the results seem to be inconclusive. Although unsatisfied with the color, I am rating 5 stars because the packaging was exceptional, and neither of the bulbs came Dead On Arrival, and both emitted the same color. Attached are videos and photos of the product being powered on. Keep in mind. The wheels are Gold, and the color of the car is silver. There is a bit of rust to compare colors. My high beams and faux vent lights are 3500k tinted LEDs

Bulbs are exactly as described and pictured. They indeed feature a METAL bulb base which is perfect, as typical Ebay bulbs usually feature a thick plastic base which may not fit properly in some headlight housings as I've experienced first hand. These Zenex bulbs fit perfectly, thus allowing the bulb to be perfectly centered and not expose the bulb to any undue stress at the base. Also these bulbs are MUCH brighter than any Ebay 6000k rated bulb, and both bulbs are identicle in color, without one being a different hue than the other like cheaper bulbs can be. The color is a brilliant crisp white once fully heated up. NO yellow hue (like with 5000k bulbs) and barely a trace of a blue hue. Paired with quality ballasts (I'm running McCulloch brand) and heavy duty ceramic connector harnesses, these bulbs will be brighter than any factory HID bulbs or headlights out there. I will definitely get another pair of these to have on stand-by should I need another pair or bulb for any reason.

The Zenex H11 bulb mount is great, even though it's plastic. It sits very snug in the headlamp as though the design were carefully sized correctly.My only problem is that it isn't amber when the fog lights turn on - it's green, and it reminds me of a Dr Seuss book, Green Eggs and Ham. As the light warms up on a Xentec digital ballast, it seems to want to change to warm yellow, but it ultimately just looks green. Listen, I am not sure whether it's because the bulb isn't good, or that the ballast isn't yielding the right electrical output. Perhaps the ballast is the issue, and if that's the case, then maybe the bulbs would be the correct color temperature of 3000K. The ballast I have is new, but I also rated a similar ballast kit from the same company with two stars because the HID lamps are already flickering within the first week that I installed it. So by no means can I simply slam the Zenex bulb since I'm not certain if it is, at all, the source of the problem. It does look different than the previous two HID bulbs I had purchased that were 3000K, because the previous ones looked yellow. This one is clear. If the same yellow filter had been in place on it, that wouldn't correct a green color.

Pro:These lights are much brighter than halogen.I'm lucky that my car has light bulb shroud inside the reflector that does not blind on-coming traffic.The location of the xenon is in the same spot as the halogen element.Con:The flange thinner than halogen, so I had to use shims.If your reflector does not have a shroud inside, you should install a projector.Light may not start up in cold weather. You will have to turn it on a few times to start it.

I replaced the HID bulbs in early April 2014 and these Zenex HID H7 6000K HID Xenon bulb are very bright & reliable after month of use.The only strange thing is wiring harness in the weather seal plug includes an 12VDC to ballast cable but that connector to 12VDC doesn't fit the H7 connector on the car which seems to be useless. I don't know why they included that 12VDC cable to ballast cable in the weather seal plug since an converted system will have its ballast mounted outside the lamp assembly.Nevertheless the Zenex HID H7 6000K HID Xenon bulb is great replacement HID bulb.

I saw the review of someone complaining these weren't oem colors, I didn't have that issue. I think these are oem colors, especially when I compare it to my Acura RDX's projectors HIDs. I have stock projects on my Audi C4 A6, and they show a hint of blue/white with a yellow outer edge. I have no complaints on the 4300k coloring and recommend these bulbs. I don't see any flickering and they warm up fast. I'm also using the same company's digital ballast. You may only see blue when you have mirror lenses, just food for thought. Good luck.

These bulbs produce a rediculously bright golden colored light that literally makes the streets look like they are paved in gold. Warning, you will blind other drivers! When they first turn on and are warming up they produce this pure green light that looks crazy then it slowly fades to gold. Our Sun puts out light at 2,700 kelvin and these are 3,0000 k so they are very close to what your eye has evolved to use best but the amber tint is like putting on a pair of amber glasses during the day. Everything stands out extremly well. I have every color of HID buld and these are by far the best in my opinion. I bought them to get other drivers attention because I ride a sport bike and am tired of people pulling out in front of me. These really do work, I have had several people tell me that the second I come into their view they see me.These might save your life!

RECV'D PRODUCT IN PRISTINE CONDITION AND IN A TIMELY MANNER (2-3 DAYS). QUALITY OF BULB REPLACEMENT WAS AWESOME. ALTHOUGH IT WAS QUITE NOT THE COLOR I WANTED, I AM OVERALL HAPPY WITH THE ZENEX BULB.WILL ORDER AGAIN AND TRY FOR THE COLOR OUTPUT I AM LOOKING FOR. THIS IS AN AWESOME PRODUCT. I INSTALLED MYSELF AND WORKS GREAT IN CLOUDY AND STORMY WEATHER, AND NOT TO MENTION COSMETIC PERKS FOR MY CAR AS WELL. EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I PUCHASED THE 10,000k I THINK I MAY NEED TO GO WITH SOMETHING A BIT HIGHER SUCH AS MAYBE 20,000K. I WAS LOOKING TO GET THE DEEP BLUE LOOK THIS IS MORE OF AN ICEBERG LIGHT BLUE. NONE THE LESS IT WORKS GREAT!
