Put on a very old 28 mm nikkor and reversed on the Nikon body, this focuses 2 inches away and it’s incredibly sharp

does not work with my nikon d5600 or with any of my 7 lenses i have. and also the mount release button does not work and is currently stuck on my camera

I was supper excited over the thought of a product that would get a macro shot without the cost of buying a macro lens. I have tried this on numerous Nikon manual lenses and the AF versions, 24mm, 105mm, 50mm. only the 50mm was able to capture an image and it really was not up to par. I cannot say the tubes are better at this point because I have not bought them. But I can say that this reverse ring will not do the trick. save your money and your time. The only good thing about this product is that it is inface made of quality metal in a world full of plastic.

To be sure you buy the correct item for your camera, you must know what the 'mount' is (mine is an 'F') and you must know what size of filter your lens takes (in millimeters).

The adapter was missing the release lock button. Luckily, I didn’t even try it on the camera, as I would not be able to remove it.
