A decent product, but I wouldn’t buy it again or give it as a gift. The paint/print on the fish and board are good, nothing has chipped of yet. The fish have a letter one one side and on the other is a different pattern or design for each fish. I ask my son to fish for a specific letter or pick up a fish with a certain pattern, or I will pick up a letter and have him say what it is or make the letter’s sound.I am not entirely sure how the other side of the board is supposed to be used. It appears to be more of a fishing game set up, but the magnet on the fishing pole isn’t strong enough to penetrate the wood and pick up one of the fish. Instead a hand held magnet tool is provided that is painted with a cat design. The magnet is stronger, but still has trouble picking up the fish through the wood. There are no instructions for any game, it’s just more using it however you want or making up your own game. In that regards, this product does allow for imagination and creativity. I feel like most kids love magnets so it gets a decent amount of play time.

A perfect learning and play toy. This was for my 2 yr old and now that she understands the fishes, she is loving this toy to play as well as she started learning with it.Talking about the material, its strong and sturdy. The magnet is good and because of which it catches the fish quickly. This way they also get to learn aiming and focus.The toy is helping her learn the fishes, alphabets, and colors. We ask her to pick the specific color and she does pick it. Yet to understand the letters but soon she will.

Nice item for my son to play with. Some of the paint flaked off of the fish in the beginning but no issues now. My son really loves playing with this and is great for his fine/gross motor. Fish come in a bag so it’s nice to keep them in so they don’t get lost.

I use this game in my kindergarten classroom. The students love it. The quality is excellent. I look for it to stand up to a lot of use for many years.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who lives in Canada. She just told me that the magnetic fish were not in the package. I am disappointed as thiS was a gift and now it’s a hassle for me to correct and try to get the fish sent to her.
