I used a detachable case on my iPhone 7 Plus and liked the combination of security and protection when I needed it and lightweight when I didn't. Being able to take the phone out of the wallet but still give it some protection is also a plus if a car holder is used. The ability to take a couple of cards without a separate wallet can be useful but see the comment below. Getting a similar case for my iPhone X was a must buy.This case is a very good quality product. It is very solidly made offering good protection of the screen and the phone in general. The phone is a secure tight fit and the magnet holding the phone into the wallet is strong enough to provide a good grip. All buttons are easily accessible. So why only three stars?One of the plus points of the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 is wireless charging and that will not work with this case. The tight secure fit of the phone works against it here as trying to get the phone out every time a charge is needed is a real pain and rather defeats the object of just dropping the phone on the charging pad.Another point is not in any way a criticism of this case but a problem using phone wallets with Apple Pay. More and more cards now have Contactless so having these cards in the wallet means that when the wallet is placed near a reader to use Apple Pay there is a good chance that a card in the wallet will be debited instead. I keep a free travel pass in the wallet and every time I use it the phone tries to take a payment. That is no problem as without Face ID the payment is not authorised but the other was around, trying to use Apple Pay, there is nothing to stop the payment going on a card in the wallet.

I prefer the 2in1 type style case, as it always keep my phone protected, and hence working and in great condition for when I trade up. It is always difficult choosing these cases online, as "leather" can mean anything between good quality leather and poor quality leatherette. In this case it means a plasticy-feel cheaper leatherette, which could be good if it wears well and keep out the occasional splash of rain. But this case unlike other's I have bought before doesn't feel like it will last more than 6 months. There's nothing specifically wrong with it, it just feels plasticy and not very durable.

This is a really nice leather case with the removable part for the phone. The leather is nice and the magnet is really strong and the flap stays back when the case is open. Holds 3 cards and some cash easily and still closes.My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is bulky when closed for a slim phone like the iPhone 7. When out of the case and just in the protective case it is atill slimThe only reason I bought it was to protect my new phone and not have to carry a wallet as wellWould I recommend it? Yes if you don't mind the bulk when the case is full but still want the slim look when taking the phone out to use it

I am very happy with the iPhone wallet. I find the detachable aspect of the case very useful.I am a little disappointed that I can only get one credit card in the wallet if I want it to close properly, but am learning to live with that.The magnet to close the case isn't that strong, but I prefer this; the magnet on my previous iPhone wallet was fierce, and I struggled to open it sometimes! I much prefer this weaker magnet.The leather is good quality and it looks nice.

I never leave reviews! However, this is the best phone case I’ve ever had & I always buy genuine leather. I use my phone as a sat nav & have to remove it from the wallet to put it in the holder in the car. Previously my phone has been unprotected as the entire wallet case has been removed, but now I just pull the phone in it’s hard case away from the wallet (nice strong magnet) & place it in the phone bracket. Magic! The workmanship and attention to detail is unrivalled in my experience & lovely fine quality leather too.

Beautiful case and very nicely made. It's real leather so remember it will mark if keys or other objects rub the case. I had this once in my pocket but managed to gently polish off the mark, but even when it does in time collect some marks I am sure it will still look great and take on an 'aged' leather appearance. Either way it should last a long time and it is definitely worth the money. Being able to remove the phone in it's protective inner case from the main outer case is great.

Love the case. My last two cases were similar but I was unable to find them any longer. The leather quality on my last two was better and the were lower in cost and looked more expensive for want of a better phrase. Though be assured this (albeit iv'e only just started to use it) is a good looking, real leather,quality product.

Feels good, time will tell as to how long it lasts...
