I have this programed to feed my spoiled cat at 3:30am so she does not yell and wake us up at 4:30am. She's trained me well.The product works great, a tad annoying to program but otherwise easy to use. I replaced the provided plastic food dish with one of my own because my cat would struggle to get the last of the crunchies out of the corners, but a cat of normal intelligence would probably handle it just fine.

LOVE this product! I use it to feed my cat. Even whike I’m home I use it. It keeps her on a schedule and makes my life easy. If I go away for the weekend I feel confident that my cat will be fed. It works perfectly.

I have purchased a cat feeder in the past about 4 years ago and it started to go out. So I started looking around. I have two complaints. D batteries really kind of bug me. The only thing that takes those batteries are baby swings and I just really never cared for the type and you need three of them. It's usb powered so I wouldn't expect it takes too much power to need those kind of batteries and it bugs me. Also the lid doesn't snap. It fits in pretty well but my old one had a snap on it. A cat probably couldn't knock it over but a kid or dog running into it could make a big mess if they hit it. Other than that the LCD is much easier to use than my old one. It is in military time which doesn't bother me too much since I am military but my wife hates military time. Anyways, I think it's 3-4 stars for sure. I wouldn't call it a five star product. I think it is a good enough product to purchase though for a cat which is what I purchased it for.

I got this automated food dispenser for my cat (IG handle @nexu_kitty). It was super easy to put together, although I did have to purchase some D batteries for it. At first he was afraid of the noise, but after a couple goes ~ he figured out that it had food and now he loves it! He comes running to eat as soon as he hears the sound of food coming out.It is very easy to program, and you can set the serving size for each meal. If you’re trying to keep your peg on a strict diet and watching portion size for them then this is a god send. Also Sometting I Love is that he is so excited to eat his kibble from it that I no longer need to entice him with wet cat food.

I have been using this product for approximately six months and now the motor will run but no food comes out and it just makes noise. Extremely frustrating, especially because I ordered this from Canada and had to pay extra for duties. I would like to make contact with someone from the company to discuss this.Additionally, when it did work, I found the minimum portion size still to be too large. I bought the machine to stop my cat from eating her food too quickly, hoping that small meals multiple times a day would help. Unfortunately, even the smallest amount of food was too much to be a small meal. Positively, the timer function works very well and it holds a lot of food.

It works really well. I set up the timer for 2 servings, one at 10 and one at 12. Both times it distributed the food and it was the perfect amount for my chihuaua. If you have a bigger dog you will definitely need to add more for portion size. I had it on 1 and it was great for small dogs.

Got two feeders so each cat had one. After a few months one wouldn't keep the proper time so would dispense middle of the day and night. 6 months later it kept making horrible noises when it would dispense the food. Now kind you one of them does it at random times, so we would hear a loud grinding noise middle of the night. Couldn't stand it anymore so unplugged them and have the cats food in normal bowls again.

I purchased these to a) help monitor portions as my cats have gained a bit of weight b) feed them when I’m out of town.Things to know:It uses military time setting.It comes with a usb cable but not the part that you plug into the wall. I’m glad I also purchased batteries.It was easy to set up and holds a good amount of food if you are going to travel for a few days or don’t want to worry about feeding them throughout the day. I’ve played around with the time settings and the portion sizes this week but I’m very happy with the purchase.
