Great for the price. Yes, I bought ten of them. No, I don't work for Kids Gear.
Okay, listen up. I am a 55 year old business owner who has been using miked headsets for decades. Fewer and fewer manufacturers are making them and I admit to being very specific about my preferences: dual padded full-ear cover headphones, a flexible mic that reaches to the front of the face, a foam windcover, adjustable band, and - something often forgotten these days - GOOD VOICE QUALITY.I usually go through one a year. Why? Because the 3.5mm barrel of EVERY headset I've used, manufacturer notwithstanding, snaps with one strong drop of the phone. It's not the fault of the manufacturer, but the fact that the PORTS on phones are flush with the bezel, versus being recessed to allow support for the neck behind the barrel. One strong impact at a particular angle, it snaps the contact inside the barrel, because the lack of recess in the bezel leaves the stress point of the barrel and the rubber neck exposed - it has nothing to do with the integrity of the headset's construction, it's that phone manufacturers care less and less about wired accessories (*cough*Apple*cough*). So, I need something that a) can fit my increasingly-more-archaic feature preferences and b) stand a little beating and c) be cheap enough to replace .Enter the Kids Gear Headset, which I initially bought at a Micro Center in Queens, NY. Honestly, it was solely because they were the only ones in the store that had the features I wanted. Bought it, tested it with several calls. The audio was clear, my callers all said I sounded clear as well, and despite it being a kids' headset, fit my head well and comfortably.I bought a second one, so I could have one at the office, one at home. After a year and a half, sure enough, I dropped the phone and the barrel bent, cracking the contact inside, and audio only came in through one ear. It was about the time I usually replace them, so I went online to find one. When I found them here for only 10 bucks, after I had bought the initial ones for $14.95, I jumped on them AND BOUGHT TEN OF THEM.This is a very tough, well-made, good-quality item, and when you factor in the price, it's a ridiculously great bargain. I hope with 10 of them, I have enough until I retire, or until they come up with neural Bluetooth implants that have the same voice and audio quality a hard-wired headset presents. If you're buying this for your kid, it's great, but eventually they're gonna break it. Why? KIDS BREAK EVERYTHING. I had two kids and I can attest to the fact that they'd find a way to eventually break the heck out of this thing. But for the price? And for my specific usage? I repeat, I BOUGHT TEN OF THEM.

2 sets home we use only & after 2 years are still amazing. Sound quality and condition as good as day ...
I researched headphones to the ends of the earth one year for Christmas and found this company. To date, we have owned 4 sets of Kidz Gear headphones. 2 sets home we use only & after 2 years are still amazing. Sound quality and condition as good as day 1. Another set we bought and used during my son's kindergarten year (they are iPad vs. textbook school). Last day of kindergarten they came home in great shape! I recently bought this pair (grey) with the mic for 1st grade. This is our 4th pair of Kidz Gear and the first set to break. After 4 months of use, the adapter broke in the iPad. I contacted the company via the website, filled out all the info (which was uber simple thanks to Amazon having all the details) and was 2-day air shipped a new set. All I have to do is return the broke set within 30 days. This company held up the warranty and did so exceptionally fast! I'm incredibly impressed!

Terrible product.
Do not buy this product. I purchased these headphones for my daughter and after a month of use the tip of the headphones broke into 3 pieces. The customer service was great and promptly replaced the headphones. The second pair arrived but without the microphone so again, I contacted the company and again they sent a replacement. This time it had the mic but it was this cheap plastic . I figured we would give them a try. After about 3 days of use the same thing happened except this time the tip stuck in the laptop and now I need to bring it in for repair. These headphones are garbage. Do not buy them.

Daughter approved!
My daughter loves them! The mic is useless as we don't need a mic I didn't realize it came with one so I can't review that aspect but the headphones are great! The sound is awesome! They do get pretty loud and you can adjust to Volume on them. They are also very very comfortable for ears!!! Super soft squishy material which my daughter loves! Would defiantly buy again and again. Highly recommend these!

happy, and they seem to be very good quality
These headphones are durable, withstanding all kinds of 4 year old abuse, and getting crushed in the luggage. They kept my 4 y.o. happy, and they seam to be very good quality. I snagged these on sale, so they were far below retail price. I love the 'boom' option in case we need it, but it can be raised out of the way if you don't. Nice to have that flexibility!

Broke after a month
It broke after only 1 month and the girl using it has been very cautious about it. Bad quality. Not worth it. I also got one in black even though I ordered blue.

Good value for money; volume protection for kids
Purchased for elementary and middle school use, lasted four years and then replaced it with the same brand. Good value for what you pay for.
