AGFRC Digital High Torque Wing Servo CNC 10mm Thin SCX24 Coreless Digital Servo with Dual Ball Bearing & Metal Gear (A20CLS)

I'm on my second set of gears after less than a week, but that's my fault I suppose. This is a great servo and the ability to make adjustments to its performance w/ the programming dongle (not a huge fan of it) is very valuable; whole 'nother dimension of tune ability!Maybe 20 years ago I've replaced gears in full size servos, and it's not that bad, but replacing the gears in this servo is a little challenging. Totally doable though. Replacement gears are spendy! They are NOT steel and the very first servo in the drivetrain will likely be the first one to go.Super positionable, super stable, very good holding power (and torque) and fast-enough. Pretty sure the Reefs 99 is THIS servo, but black. It wants a strong BEC.Servo is a bit tall so fitment may be an issue depending on the application. Uses the standard 4.9mm 25t spline that I'm becoming ALL TOO familiar with! Not the same as the 5.9mm 25t used in larger servos..

I’m up to 6 of these. Never had an issue with any of them. The oldest is over 3 years old, never used on a stock rc, every rc has lots of brass and these servos are quite + fast + strong. The stock mounts don’t usually work, the plastic horn is an easy replacement with a universal 25t metal version. They have a programmer aswell to get the absolute most out of it. It’s rumor that this company makes most of the other servos on the market. For the price you cannot do better

From my understanding this servo is made by the same company that makes the more expensive servos. This servo is faster then the stock arrma Grom spektrum servo and is super quiet! Has good torque too. Will definitely be buying a few more for my other Arrma 3s,4s and 6s vehicles. Highly recommend this servo. Will update if anything changes.

TL;DR- Capra dig servo, seems strong, works.Running this in my 4WS Capra as a dig servo. It didn’t come with dig out of the box so this is my first time using it. Ive only been out once for a couple hours since the install and used dig maybe 4 or 5 times and it worked perfect. I didn’t have to back up to engage or disengage dig as I’ve seen on some YouTube videos. I’ve heard these servos are the suppliers for most big name brands and I’d have to say that does seem to be the case. It came nicely packaged in a clear hard plastic case with a few different (plastic) servo horns for different applications. I did adjust the end points to the best of my ability, being new to this, time will tell. I will probably end up ordering a few more for my SCX24’s. If I do, or anything happens to this one, I’ll update my review.

Updated review: The manufacturer reached out to me to address my concerns and offered to replace the servo gears under warranty. They did so speedily and my servo is back up and running. Great customer service. I’ll look for a compatible servo saver to prevent this from happening again.Original review: I was really impressed with the speed, power and silence of this servo out of the box. As I used it more and more, I grew to really enjoy it in my Meus Ripper TRX4-M build. However, my rig took a tumble down a hill trying to climb a challenging line and the servo immediately started spazzing out. I knew immediately it was done for. Doing an autopsy, one of the brass gears was completely shredded. It's a shame as this has been one of my favorite micro servos for its speed, power and silence. I hope AGFRC revisits its gear material to make a stronger gear set in the future, as well as making it completely waterproof as I like to RC in the rain as well (this servo is only splash proof).

The media could not be loaded. Servo swap on the new TRX4-M Bronco. If you're going to do something you may as well do it right the 1st time.1st I used an AGFRC Digital High-Torque Micro Wing-Servo - available on Amazon for $45.99, the screw holes align perfectly.2nd once the original servo is removed you will have to use an exacto knife to shave 1/16 of an inch on the 2 sides adjacent to the mounting screw holes.3rd once you install the new servo and power it up, you can alight the servo and mount the servo arm.4th you will have to use the steering servo arm that comes with the new servo including the mounting screw.5th you will need to drill out the hole on the new servo horn arm just slightly enough to accommodate the original screw. Trim off additional servo arm length with snips.6th you will need a metal hollow ball, I had some from a Traxxas turn buckle kit I had handy. I used the hollow ball and grinded down one of the rings then installed it like it was originally. This ensures your steering arm will be straight and alignment.Additionally, I added shrink tape on all axle joints to keep the drive shaft from falling out, added grease to transmission gears, and shock oil to existing shocks.See the attached photos for additional info. I just ordered a second one for my Defender.

This servo is VERY similar to some high end name brands. Got plenty of torque and is pretty dang quiet. Overall, this variant looks pretty cool with the colors, it's the same as it's standard variant as far as specs. It performs really good, it's fast, and torquey.

Straight bolt in. The only thing is, it is a bit longer so you have to mount on its bottom holes so it clears the links on the axle.I got it cause I wanted aluminium cased servo since I'm running the Furitek Mini Godzilla and already broke 2 servos plastic mounting ears.

Got this servo a while ago and something internal broke. It worked amazing while it lasted. Contacted agfrc customer support through their website and they were quick to respond to help find a fix. Unfortunately it was not fixable so they sent me a new one!

I tested the stall torque and only getting 8.15kg-cm at 8.4V and with a bench power supply that allows for up to 3.2A... ~70% of what's rated (11.4kgcm).
