Overall, these are fantastic. I’ve installed 4 sets color matched to custom shells. The extended R2/L2 triggers add control for brake and gas functions on racing games, and overall, they add a more solid feel to OEM controllers. I just wish they were offered with extended joysticks.

I got the package opened everything looked good so I installed them turned on my ps4 and made sure they worked didn't play a game just turned the ps4 on went through the menu and then turned it off. Waited like a week and half maybe 2 before I wanted to play a game then when I went to play the show 2022 the game wouldn't let press any button and move to the main menu so I tried another game same problem. So I disconnected the controller went back to the show 22 and it worked fine went back to skater xl and it worked fine. So I decided to plug in the controller with the new buttons and my R2 button was constantly being pressed. I took it apart again and seen the R2 button was constantly being pressed because the cylinders that hold it into the controller were bent so I went to bend them back a little but with jewelery needle nose pliers and the barrel broke off. It some what works now but I still would like a R2 button that works seeing how I paid damn near 30 for some buttons other than that I think they're pretty great just make sure that every thing is how it's supposed to be before you install them or your gonna be doing some trouble shooting and pulling a controller apart multiple times just to fix a Problme you shouldn't have had to being with.

I had absolutely almost no problems with this purchase. Everything feels great and is amazing except for the fact that when I recieved the gold version today everything was going good, until I went to put the thumb sticks in, and flip the controller over to put it back together, the thumbsticks just fell off, I got it together after about 45 minutes of getting frustrated and putting the thumb sticks in the faceplate(you have to leave the faceplate face down due to the share/options buttons. They will just fall out if you try to flip it) and maneuvering the whole thing together, spinning the thumbsticks once I got it pressed together, with a lot of patience it finally all went together. Don't know if it's just a defect or a common issue. I will add that now that it's together it's all very comfortable and asthetically pleasing. Would have given it five stars if I hadn't had such trouble with the thumbsticks.

Absolutely love the look of these metal levers and directional thumbpad (bought in dark gray finish). The slightly textured d-pad is an improvement over the original plastic design (in my opinion) and the added length on the L2 &R2 levers are exactly the right length to reach comfortably. I chose not to use the included action buttons (designed to look like the base of 9mm bullet casings with intact primers) because I used them on one of my Limited Edition The Last of Us pt II controllers (left the other one completely stock in case I want to use/feel the original version) and I like the single color look of the PS icons (all light gray to white on these controllers) and at times I honestly forget which symbols go on which buttons. The overall weight added by all of the aluminum pieces isn’t overwhelming in a way it makes the controller too heavy for extended gameplay, but just substantial enough to make a notable difference over stock. The slight weight difference adds a comfortable heft which the original controller lacks and, again in my own opinion, gives the controller a nice quality feel overall. My only issue with these is that the L2 & R2 levers have a slightly sharp outer edge to them. It isn’t too uncomfortable and I honestly forget about that edge while playing, but when I first reassembled the controller after installing everything, it was the first thing I noticed when getting a feel for the new buttons and levers. I was also afraid that the added weight of the aluminum would negatively affect the factory springs & rubber pads but they work just fine. There are extra springs and screws included in the kit but again, I did not use them.Overall, I feel this kit is of exceptional quality and is worth the price of admission. Of course, I would prefer it if I could have chosen the parts I wanted to modify (minus the right side individual icon-labelled buttons) and at a lower price (maybe $18-$20?). Part of the reason I chose not to modify both of my Ltd Edition controllers was because 1) I initially felt is was somewhat of a “sacrilege” to modify the Ltd. Ed. TLOU2 controller so to make myself feel better I left the other one alone and 2) $50.00 for both controllers seemed a bit pricey to me.I would definitely have given this kit 4.5 stars if given the option, with the 1/2 star deducted for the “sharp” edges of the L2 & R2 extended levers, but ultimately feel they deserve my 5 stars as the edges did not affect my comfort nor gameplay at all in the end.Would I buy another kit in the future?Yup! Absolutely

I got my delivery two days after ordering, and about an hour and a lot of hand cramping later I had this result. Super easy to install once you get the controller apart, however the included screwdriver kind of sucks and is very painful on the hands, the screws are damn near glued into the controller. Aside from unscrewing and rescrewing everything else was fairly easy. Everything popped into place no problem, perfect fit, no sticking or catching. The thumb sticks were catching a little bit once I reassembled the controller but I just pushed them down onto the posts a little harder and they were fine. The included tools are sufficient but I'd recommend a set of needle nose pliers for unplugging the light bar and battery pack. I was able to do it with my chubby fingers, so needle nose pliers are not a necessity but definitely would have made things a little easier. Overall good product, the only complaints I have are related to disassembling the controller itself, which is the fault of Sony and not Tomsin.

Sehr schön verarbeiter, einziger Nachteil die L2/R2 Tasten sind nicht komplett identisch aufgebaut im inneren. Man kann keinen trigger mod mit diesen tasten kombinieren leider. Ansonsten super Qualität.

Pretty good quality all in all but the joysticks don’t work, doesn’t bother me too much cause I used joystick covers anyway.
