Zhiyou Universal Cameras L Bracket L Plate, with 1/4-20 Tripod Thread and Arca Swiss Compatible

I bought this product to specifically do panorama shots using a Shoot macro rail that only has a 1/4 UNC camera thread, so a Arca Swiss only product would not do. This has both, so it is a really flexible piece of kit. I use the macro rail , which has graduations marked on it, to set and note the zero parallax point on lenses. I took my panorama captures with a Panasonic GX9, but I have tried the Zhiyou with my Olympus EM1 and Pentax K50 too and both fit fine with plenty of adjustment to spare. Providing your camera's tripod mount is no more than 10cm from left hand side this L bracket should fit. The aluminium alloy material used in the construction is 10mm at its thickest point, so there is no chance of any flex to create any extra wobble etc. I have considered buying a second, so I could use them together so my camera will be right side up when my tipod is used inverted for low level shots. However, I have already made something for low level macro photography and until I leave that behind after a shoot ( I am very prone to forgetting things) I will stick with what I have. Buy with confidence, if your camera fits the parameter measurement above.

This has transformed my use of a tripod for landscape shots. To go from portrait to landscape mode is a lot easier and more secure than tipping the ball head over. On a DSLR this does make it a very large and heavy item to carry. I am in the fortunate position of having a choice of cameras so this L bracket just lives on one body. I have once or twice carried the camera using this as a handle and it is okay but it would be better to remove it. It is attached using an Allen key, and this does make a very secure fix. Sometimes you just don't have a convenient Allen key and a 20p coin is not really up to the job. This is nothing against the item or the manufacture, just me. But this is why it has a permanent home on a camera.I like this bracket. I wouldn't be without it now and for the price, it's a no-brainer.

I have been looking for something to fit onto a Pentax K-S2 camera to hold a mechanical shutter release,which the Pentax does not have,so with this bracket,I bought a mechanical shutter release from SRB photographic,both work 100% ,I highly recommend these for the Pentax K-S2.

I was looking for a cheap L Bracket for my Nikon D850. However for a branded one you have to pay lots of money and I looked for a 2nd option! For this price this is a bargain. Good quality (aluminium) and yest it does fit my D850. I suspect it will fit my old Nikon D90 as well but I didn't get the chance to try it. I did a test on the tripod last night and I didn't notice any play when fitted on my K&F Concept TM2515T. I can't tell the difference between a more expensive one (maybe the shape) and this one. I'm really happy with my purchase.

This bracket is excellent. It is light but very sturdy and makes the job of changing my camera from landscape to portrait so much easier. It fits all of my camera's including Canon 6D, 800D, 500D, M100 and Panasonic fz82. I can also still access my battery compartments and side ports with it attached. Have just ordered another one. Highly recommended.

Loads of mounting holes on the left hand side (or right, dependent on how you mount it to your camera) of this bracket, for adding friction arms, to hold monitors, microphones etc. Seems very well made, the screw to hold it to the camera, is grooved so you can use a coin and really tighten it up (plus there is a spare).

With loads of camera brackets to chose from I eventually chose this one on the basis of design - the base seems longer than others, design - loads of holes for accessories and price. I’ve been using it for a while now and am not disappointed. It’s light, sturdy, well made and good value for money.

I love it. I got myself a new ring light but if I wanted to film my Instagram tutorial then I could turn it portrait mode. Thats when I came across with this products. and its amazing. i takes few seconds to move it and tighten up different positions for camera but it have saved my life for filming youtube & IG tutorials. thank you
