Franco SartoWomen's Clemens Espadrille Wedge Sandal

So happy to find this shoe available in wide width. I don't' wear heels very well, but this super cute wedge espadrille with the 1" platform in front was pretty great. I used a clear cushion insert to help with comfort, and I was able to wear these heels as I zipped about my home hosting a big party for 3+ hours. I've been looking for a cute pair of platform espadrilles and it's hard to find wide width options. I am really happy with these shoes. Note, the wedge does not have any flexibility, but the ankle strap allowed my foot to flex when I walk and somehow it all worked and the rigid wedge wasn't an issue. (I have slim ankles, so they fit well at the ankles.)

I love the look and the quality of the leather. I also loved the comfort of the insole. The only problem was the ankle strap is attached to the heel which is attached to the platform and there is no give to the strap when you walk. If there was some good quality elastic under the buckle it would allow for give of the ankle strap when walking. I love this shoe and was sad to return it only because the ankle strap had no give when walking! I almost decided to keep it and see if a shoe repair shop could add elastic under the buckle but didn’t want the added cost.

I bought these last summer in mint green and loved them so I just bought them in white leather for this summer. Gosh I love them. So easy to put on with the Velcro strap. The leather looks high quality (white can sometimes look cheap) and they are pretty comfortable since they are not too high and not too low. I have had several people ask me about them when I wore them and they just bought them too. So many cute colors to choose from. I can't decide which color I will buy next......

These make for a great pair of summer sandals. The band above the ankle is velcro so the adjustment is easy to customize. The foot bed was the perfect size for me, my toes fit and didn't slide through the opening. I did a bit of walking the first time I wore them and didn't have any issues...no rubbing or blisters. I normally wear a size 8 and that is the size I purchased so I would say these are true to size.

I enjoyed wearing them all last summer. But the heel is beginning to separate. 🤷‍♀️I’m ordering another pair anyway!!!

These are cute shoes but not wide enough for my - I guess - extremely extra wide feet. The ankle strap is confining but it could just be that I’m not used to the style.

I am so pleased with these sandals. I was look for ankle strap espadrilles and fell in love with these. I was worried that they would take ages to come from the USA, but they were with me in a few days. They came well packaged and in the original Franco Sarto box. They are incredibly comfortable, the strap is so easy to adjust, as it is velcro. the heel is a perfect height and the inside is very soft. I checked another pair of my shoes to confirm the US size, I am a UK 6 and these are a US 8 and fit perfectly, happy to recommend and I might get another colour way
