Bright light with good blue balance, very good price!
Light looks really good. Its bright and when put with blue led row across front looks more 14K to 15K blue and then you can flip it and have white leds across front for whiter 10-12K look. Guess that offers a kinda color option for people rather than having the leds mixed for blending. I am really surprised at this price for the 20W brightness and good color.Fits tank fine with adjustable plastic feet on my rimmed tank, it has long plastic screws for bracket so should work fin on rimless. Sits only about 3" above water or about 1 1/4" above glass tops. Brushed silver heat sink back gets a bit warm around middle of light but nothing to worry about led side of light is fine.I found par charts for it http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showthread.php?t=184294 - the Day/Actinic and they seem to be really decent for most corals (over 80 at 1 foot and 6 inch spread, I am using in 12 deep 20G long). But I dont know about the light's K value being most accurate to get the benefit from the PAR.Algae on rocks did pearl after putting on so it must be putting out something, I would recommend. It replaced the Fluva Sea Marine LED Nano light and is bluer and brighter with 20W versus 13W. They are both of the school with many low wattage LEDS to get PAR and COLOR K versus fewer higher wattage, quality brand LED's - but this light is really at only 25-30% of the cost. For the my price under $100, I got 30" size too, it's worth it even as a test or backup light.

Overall ok light with some poor design.
Overall the light is ok. Here are my complaints.1. The LEDs do not run the entire length of the strip - about 2/3 coverage.2. The power switch and power cord come out the end of the unit, not a big deal unless you have a canopy. If you do I doubt this will fit.3. The description and picture associated with this product is a little deceiving. Everything mentions a pair of LEDs and even the item description shows two light strips. This is for one strip that has two ros of leds.

Good, just not on a reef tank
I bought this light to use on my 29 gallon reef tank. After doing some digging and asking around on a couple saltwater forums I decided to upgrade. I think this fixture puts out plenty of light for a FOWLR tank, I don't think it could support coral though. If you are starting a reef tank, my advice is not to skimp on lighting.

Beautiful Light
This light is quite beautiful in a 29 gallon salt water tank. It provides ample power for hardy corals and leathers, but it doesn't seem to have the par intensity at depth to support things like clams. Overall, however, I love it!

good light. I didnt realize it was meant for ...
Wanted to wait a few months before posting. Overall its. good light. I didnt realize it was meant for salt water until after I bought it, but with the plants I have, it works well. I dont have co2 or crazy nutrients. Its a 29 gallon fresh water. Amazon sword, variety of anubias, a few other low/mid light.I do notice that the anubias has had a few bouts w bba. Not insane. But its slowly creeping and is eating the leaves. Maybe its lazyness on my part.I love the color it gives off. the blue hue works perfect with my background and gravel. I have neon tetras and guppies in there that just Pop really well. Never had an issue with it not working. My cat actually nocked it in the water the first month I had it. It popped the power bar, and I pulled it out and let it dry for two days. No issues since. Not even a flicker.Switch is easy on/off. Its definitely bright. It can light up a room at night. I dont think ill ever forget if its on or off.

Great light
Very good light for the money. If you have been looking for a LED light that wont break the bank, give this a try. The actinic really makes the colors pop and my Coral Beauty looks awesome in the light. Hopefully this lasts as advertised. I ended up putting this on a 36" wide tank since i have a hood and would not fit with the 36inch size due to the way it mounts. I was able to create a custom hanging mount easily. The key is the light goes edge to edge with no issues.

Works awesome
Works awesome. Nice and bright. It does only one switch for on and off instead of separate switches for actinic and daylight. But works for my 36 gallon bowfront saltwater tank. I have coral and fish in there and they all seem to love it.
