This is a super upgrade to our old sure flap

I bought this as my original one died.I have had it 6 years and it is fantastic. I've had a couple of issues in that rime but the customer support is fantastic. Unfortunately my old one was something they couldn't diagnose remotely and it was outside warranty.But as I said it has been so good I bought another one.I use it with the hit so know when my cat enters or leaves the house which is super handy if we are away as the cat sitter knows if she has been around if she doesn't see her.

This is the updated version to the one I had previously. Works well and easy to setup.

I ordered this as I was under the impression this catflap connected to the app. It does but only if you buy a £75 hub. As another reviewer mentioned, this is simply an expensive microchip catflap otherwise. Its more than double the price of their own standard microchip catflap. I returned it & bought a normal microchip flap.

I accidentally bought the cheaper version of this initially….but it didn’t contain the hub!! Oops. I should have read the blurb more carefully and not just relied on the picture of a hub on the box. Anyway, although expensive, it is a brilliant product and has given me peace of mind. I always know where my cats are and I can lock it using my phone when I want them to stay in. The only downside is that you have to place your cat’s head within the flap, before fitting it to the door, so that it will register its chip. For two of my cats this was simple, I just placed treats on the shelf and they stuck their heads in to retrieve them. I was able to tell the catflap to allow one cat access and not the other by simply pressing a button once, or twice. However, I have three cats who are semi feral and no way would they co-operate. They’d run a mile if they saw me and a catflap approaching them! So, hopefully these three will never tailgate the one who is allowed ‘out out’! They just go in our cat-proofed garden normally.

Bought this as a replacement of previous one after constant use of 5.5 years. 5 years for this flap, not too bad...

This product is amazing when working but had some issues with my first unit, firstly the latch would lock open and sorted that but then the WiFi stopped working and unit was just opening closing constantly on its own - struggled with customer service and was out of warranty so had to buy another as I do like the unit and security it offers when working! Just make sure you have deep pockets to replace if needed as expensive but good when working

This is a good quality cat flap, easy to fit and functions well. I tegration with the hub and app on your phone is easy. Unfortunately it does not provide that much control. I was expecting to be able to run different schedules for different cats, but this only lets you set 'indoor node' for individual cats.So in our case where we don't want our young cat to go out overnight while our older cats can, I have to remember to set him to indoor mode each night.I had a cat flap 20 years ago which could run different schedules for different cats but was all done with buttons and beeps on the car flap itself, so I was really looking forward to full control with the app. I am disappointed, especially as it seems to me that a little app development could work wonders
