Cyclo Tools Bike Adjustable Reamer

Cyclo make some great tools and this one works fine. It's a bit lightweight but I suppose it has to be to offer adjustability. If I wanted a tool to use for regular framebuilding, I'd get one with different reamers for different sizes. This is more for refurbishing old frames, and does that perfectly. Another point to note is that there is no handle provided. You're supposed to use something like a large tap handle, which tends to fall off every other revolution. For the price (or a bit more) a proper handle would be appreciated

Used to ream out ally seat post from steel frame seized after 50 years. Quite physical but did the job well enough. Unrelated problem I had was hidden second steel tube below. Just too narrow for reamer to pass all the way through top to bottom. The minimum width of reamer is just that.

The seat post tube on my Haibike Full 7 wasn't reamed deep enough to take a hydraulic seat post. Only a sliver was needed to be taken off so unlikely to harm the seat post strength so I got this adjustable reamer. Had to grind off some of the lower nut slightly to get it deep enough but carefully with multiple very small passes this did an amazing job. Needed 31.6mm to 180mm deep for new post, now fits perfectly and works great.
