I LOVE THIS UMBRELLA!!
As a member of the very lazy Generation Z, what could be a better testament to my cohort than an umbrella that CLOSES itself. This was exactly my thought process when buying this product and well that was about it. But this umbrella is JUST AMAZING -- it totally surpassed all (most) of my expectations! It rained last night in NYC so I finally got the chance to use the product. The "stem" and "arms" of the umbrella are EXTREMELY sturdy. I'm pretty sure you can crack open a safe with the umbrella's skeleton -- a nice bonus feature I guess lol. Another thing I really like about the umbrella is how if you close it and wrap it, it WILL NOT OPEN. Even if you happen you press the trigger, if the umbrella is tucked and wrapped away, it won't open. This to me was really amazing because the umbrella literally opens and closes with the force of a freight train and the fact that the manufacturer thought as far as to include a mechanism to prevent the accidental opening of the umbrella is pretty remarkable. Overall, I love the quality of the product and I would recommend it!The opening and closing are harsh, but i'm sure that the umbrella's skeleton can stand up to it -- so im not really bothered by it. I guess the only "complaint" would be the size of the umbrella which is a little bit small for my liking by like an inch or so, but it's nothing too prominent that would prevent me from purchasing this product.

It fell apart after a few uses.
First of all , I bought two of these products. one of them is doing fine . The other one fell apart after a few uses. There is a little nail like thing that seems to hold it together at the open and closing point. It looks like it just got all bent up and fell out and then the whole umbrella fell apart. I do not know if this is common or it was just defective. I would be interested in hearing from some others on this.

It hold it's owe against the wind
I was coming out of work, and didn't know it was windy and raining. I carry my umbrella in my backpack. I took it out and popped it open. I thought well this will be a good test. I was surprised that it stay open and didn't flip inside out, like most umbrellas that I have. This is a winner.

Spring Loaded
This umbrella came just in time for a soaking wet week. I was surprised at the strength of the spring when pressing the button. The umbrella opened rapidly with effective protection from the freezing rain at the local winter festival. I was given two thumbs up from my daughter for this purchase.

Great for a backpack, briefcase or tote bag
This umbrella is light and compact when closed and handy to have in your bag. It opens smoothly with its automatic mechanism. I tried it when it is was windy and it withstand the wind, no flipping. Still have to see what happens when winds are gutsy. Good buy though!

Won't open or close. Even if you try to open manually it won't catch to stay up

Nice product
Very good quality at this price. Nice design and pretty tiny to be carried in bag. The structure in it seems to be surtainable. My wife love it. She said it works well even in Chicago.
