I have used this for only cold liquids and it works very well. I would assume it works for hot liquids equally as good. The pro with this bottle is the size. It carries enough water for a long outing. I have 2 cons. First, the top of the cap should be metal as opposed to plastic. The second is more of a side effect - the bottle is large and may not fir into conventional cup holders or smaller daypacks/backpacks. It's a tradeoff and I prefer having the ability to carry more water. I could easily seeing myself buying a 17 oz size for shorter trips. I use this bottle at work and when travelling and it fits my needs perfectly. The paint seems like it'll last but if you through it around or drop it it would obviously chip or scratch. Good buy and highly recommended.

I have had very good performance from this item so far. I am a contractor and I keep it in my truck. I did a test the first few days that I had it. I put some cold water and six ice cubes in it. 24 hours later ice cubes still there. 48 hours later ice cubes starting to melt but still there ..water still very cold. 72 hours later ice cubes were gone but water was still quite cool / cold . This was sitting inside my house at room temperature of about 70°.Pretty good performance -- very rugged and durable, I would recommend it !

The thermos bottle ( sorry, I grewup when these were called that) works just fine. It is everything the company says it is. I don’t think the claim of 24 hours is accurate. I filled it with hot coffee at 9 am. At 3 pm the coffee was warm but definitely not hot. But, that is good enough for me.

On day three of use, I looked into the flask to see how much water was in there only to see a plastic ring inside. Wasn't sure where it came from. From pictures here I see it is supposed to be on the inner part of the cover. So its come off and wont stay on. I am certain the flask will be less effective now.

Our bottle must have been defective as ice would melt within 5 or 6 hours vs. couple other bottles from other manufacturers that retain ice for literally 24 hrs if heavily iced to begin with. Also noticed the outside of this bottle would feel cold which indicates insulation problems. We're big fans of these bottles and have 5 from various makers already, this one wasn't in the same class and as I said. may have been compromised when manufactured.

Title says it all. Massive dents, paint chips and the lid is so soft that flattened upwards on one of the edges of the ring after a 7in fall on a rug over linoleum. Since I use this for work, it’s pointless to get another one for the sake of appearances as it still functions just fine.

I have used this to hold my tea that I brew in the Zell brand Cold Brew coffee/tea maker. And it works just as expected.I use it to keep my cold brew tea cold. I am not so sure of the claim that it will keep my cool drink perfectly chilled for 24 hours, but it keeps it cool long enough for me to drink it.Thanks

I use for coffee bottle, about a little longer than a 1 liter pop bottle and about as big around. got a 2 pack for 20$ so 10$ a piece.
