Seller quickly issued a refund as the first time I measured the time it was off by 15 have minutes but I have since tested it several more times and it was almost exactly 60 minutes!

Pretty, but overpriced
Smaller than I thought it would be, but still pretty. I think it should have cost about $25 at most though.I haven't checked the accuracy since I bought it just to look pretty.

A Wrinkle in Time
This hourglass is stunning! It is also a favorite conversation piece. The low star rating comes from the fact that the hourglass has not worked reliably since it arrived. The sand frequently becomes stuck and stops flowing. The stopped sand/time is what makes it a great conversation piece; but, as anything other than a pretty paperweight it fails.
