Did not get to actually using the lock due to the app.Lock arrived, apparently fully charged, so I went to install the app.- All text describing the app is in Chinese - with digital protection issues of late, this is concerning. Also concerning is that the app's rating at the time of the writing of this review is 2.6/5.0 on the android play store.- Installed the app anyway- Started the app and this is when I ran into a non-starter. The app asks for the following permissions: - Access to your contacts - Access to your location - Access to your phone's storage (reading AND writing) - Taking pictures and videos (including listening in on you)- Also required is creating an account with OKLOK - and you cannot use your google account to sign in, which means you give them your email and password separately.I'm sending this back as I don't think giving someone a near-full access to my phone is worth a padlock.

Can’t use without them having access to your phone. I cant even try it out due to having to “register” it and give the app all kinds of personal permissions. According to the user agreement that I actually read, they will use the information for profit.Returning this Chinese security risk same day.

Beware if you buy this. The app is shady and asks for ridiculous permissions and my phone alerted the app as malware.With that being said. The lock is really cool and works. Tony from RoMech emailed me back after reading my concerns about the app and for that type of customer service I bumped them up to three stars.If you can get passed the permissions the app requires, Tony instructed me what the permissions to and how to turn them off. Great customer service!

I can't get it to hook up to my phone and when I ask for a code for the Bluetooth they say there isn't one but my phone keeps asking for one. Very disappointed

This lock can be controlled by the app and is waterproof. The fingerprint is accurate and take in 10 different sets of fingerprint, which is pretty cool. My friend and I can both use this lock whenever we go to the gym and not have to worry that only one of us can unlock it. This is very good if you hate using the traditional padlock and sometimes would forget the combination. Very efficient, no more turning left and right to unlock my lock. This seems very durable and would probably last me for years. I would imagine that even the fingerprint detector is damaged by accident in the future, I can still unlock it with the app. Definitely recommend this.

The lock seems good, but you must use the app to set it up. To use it, you must give the app access to the camera (and media files), location, allow it to make phone calls and to all of your storage. WHY???? Are they data mining?At the moment, I set the lock up and then turned off all permissions (which make the app useless to have). I am thinking of returning it.

Very diffcult to setup and use. App is not user friendly and fustrated with fingerprint function.

This keyless pad lock is great!. The only negative I have with it. If I want my family members or my pool guy or my landscaper needs access to it. They have to download the app to their own phone and sign up. That's an inconvenience to them. I should be able to just give them access through the app on my phone and have them program there fingerprint through my app and put their name for each fingerprint.
